  1. Lurve and respect. To some people thats more important...
  2. hahaha funny man I did it for the lurve
  3. Stupid zeds. Was meant to pull my engine out yesterday but got distracted doing a plenum pull on a mates zed. Easy enough, but then he wanted to check timing belt was on correctly (which it was) while waiting for mobile injector guy to test/clean injectors. Put everything back together and it had a massive boost leak. One of the rail insulators was minced and spewing fuel and air. So had to pull plenum and fix and re-install. Finished about 9pm last night (started about 10am). 3 plenum pulls in 2 days FML.
  4. You would consider it differently if it was you paying lots and getting nothing in return. Quit my bitching? Maybe when I stop paying for lazy dole bludgers, teen baby factories, and old people. I hate old people. I worked hard to get where I am, to have the tax man take a fat chunk of my earnings. I could accept paying it IF the gov did something productive with it, or if I could choose where my tax $$$ went (combat vets, roads etc)
  5. I paid more than 70f**king thousand dollars in tax last financial year. Got 2.5 back. Thieving pricks.
  6. Yep. Rear subframe had been stripped right down (new bushes etc) and fully cleaned and painted. Even axles, diff etc. Same with gearbox, been cleaned and painted.

  12. Mine were 20+ years old, no issues. Don't even need engine out to change them. Having said that, I am using yellow jackets at the mo, for no aparant reason other than 'modify'

  24. Plenty of people in times gone by learnt to drive in shit heaps and survived. Giving a new driver a high powered or modified car is crazy talk. Give them something slow and old or something slow and new. Driver education is the key but that isn't going to happen. If everyone learnt to drive to the conditions (including the condition of the car they are in) the world would be a better place. A very, very small minority of new l and p plate drivers have ever/will ever be involved in some for of motorsport.
