Well i went into supercheap today to buy some coolant. he told me it there was nothing to worry about because: i bought the car a month ago, the previous owner just had the car sitting for about about 4 months, not turning on nothing. So yeah he said dont worry about it. He gave me this coolant booster thing, small bottle - only 500ml. He said just drain a little water and pour the whole 500ml bottle into the radiator - i told him i'm only keeping my car for 6 months. he said that'll do. I havent been able to find the plug to release the water - still searching. If i just left the tap water in the radiator, how long before it acutally does any damage to radiator - rust?

OMG. u're in japan! Can u get me some parts? - I hear 18" rims r only $400/$500 there 2nd hand. I want some! lol. Back to ur question. my bov did the samething. after like 2 weeks, i reset the ecu once too, everything was fine. Guess i was just lucky. anywayz how about those rims I'm pretty sure there will be a few guys in Japan who can help u out - $ is an universal language of requiring their services.

hey, yeah newbie asking question. My alternator is making a funny noise. I got the mechanic to check it out when i bought my car he said it was fine. But yeah its making a funny noise. What is the worst case scenerio that could occur. Alternator fcuking up the engine or turbo??? I'm totally new at this and learning. please explain in detail if possible. thanks - how much to get a new alternator too btw - fitted? (this is my 1st car and I'm learning) - Yes yes I know I'm stupid, dont have to tell me that.

so far I've done 1000km's since that overheating problem, car has been running smooth as. temp is goin strong. Since that 1000km's back and from the gold coast. I've put 300ml's of water in the radiator cooling system. I was thinking of just putting the coolant in and just see how the car goes for now, DO U THINK THAT's WISE? Like I've done 1000km's, if something was to go wrong, it would have (wouldn't it). But like i said it currently has tap water in there, should i just put coolant in and see how it goes ??? I know i should invest in a mechanic .... I think i will actually.

yeah well. it didn overheat with like smoke going everywhere. i just saw the temp gauge pretty much at HOT. THen i open the radiator cap (after lettin it cool) and realise there was no coolant left. I've put tap water in there soo far, i want to make sure there is no leak b4 puttin coolant in there. I've done about 1000km's soo far to the coast and back twice, car temp has been normal. Should i just ignore the problem??? Or treat it seriously. that white box on the left side of the engine bay which the water goes too is half full. wat level should it be at? I dunno if the pump is working, engine clutch fan is working. i presume they r.

i have one with all the required hoses, stock bov off a r33 gts-t. Open to offers too

sup man, oi for $10K u can pick up a n/a with decent km's on it. there's a fair few around man. For 10k u can easily get a STOCK ONE n/a. I betcha my very own car u will find one easily... there r just sooo many around... good luck.

would it be worth ur while. what do skylines for for in the US? lets say r33 gts-t full car low k's stock. how much in the US (without compliencing)? This could be turn into a profitable business?? maybe playin the exchange rate at the same time

hey, yeah my car has overheated once, and I've refilled the water in the radiator. However i seriously require a mechanic who can help me out. Anyone can recommend me someone good and well price, or anyone here confident enough to just help me from past experience. Seriously need help. Only this problem with the car, so anyone who can help me out or direct me to a home mechanic would be great. thanks bryanlee38

32_envy sorry to hear bout this. Hope everything works on, something simiar occured to a close relation of mine. My philospohy was to make the person as happy as possible, where it may be buying a present, or bringing them to places they enjoy. Allow them to reflect on events which cheers them up, teens with depression tend to ponder and think alot - just basic reflecting on life. If you give them stimulus like presents, they will reflect more on that. What I did, was purchase a puppy - it worked for my scenerio. You could try that. Pets does wonders - gives the person a unlimited source of entertainment and reflect on how precious life is. Hope this helps. the car is a little hard to start, but I'm 99% sure its the battery. I'm gettin a new one on thursday. I've checked (well look at the floor) and there's no leakage onto the floor, can it leak onto anywhere else? the fan is working fine for sure. I checked the dipstickm, looks normal, however i did get my oil change yesterday, put in castrol magnotec WHAT do u mean run with cap off - the radiator cap? What should it look like. currently where u r meant to pour the coolant in, i just have water in there. lastly, when u say take plugs out - what plugs sorry. I'm new to this. only had the car for a month, slowly learning.

running stock boost. only mods r bov, pod, TT, 3 inch cat back, THATS it. nothing big. the radiator isnt leaking, no drips on the floor. THe water/coolant is meant to keep filtering back and forth Correct? ANy chance its just evaporating? I've only done 500km's and i have to top up. It has overheated once, but after the 500km's I check and the below the valve cap was DRY. but car hasnt overheated, I've refilled it with water. But will get coolant asap.

sort of tune? - newbie (i dont getcha). Car's was dyno tuned by previous owner. I've had the car for a month soo far. I've filled up my car 6 times soo far. I've used ULtime and Optimax mainly, however i did use Mobil Premium unleaded once when i was desperate as i was on very very low fuel.

alright, yesterday i was driving, my car temperature went up to HOT ... right up there. Therefore I stopped and saw a little steam comin out from the engine bay, on the left where the water is. I waited and then opened my radiator valve, and it was totally dry. I didnt have any coolant on me so i just put in some hot water. My car cooled down then i eventually drove to the coast. Did about 600km's soo far, and i checked today, open the radiator valve and it was dry again! TOTALLY DRY! However car hasnt overheated, because i havent driven it since. I thought it was a leak, however there was no water on the ground. What is happenin, please help bryanlee38

are u after tyres with thread? because i have 4 with rims I'm tryin to get rid off - but they have like 10% thread on them LOL. So yeah. burnouts = Yes. Normal Driving = NO

I think its only 2. (dont quote me on this) i aint a specialist on this. Just been told to sell this. I know engine immobiliser and shock sensors. This can be installed anywhere in Aus. as long as the person knows wat they r doin, comes with wiring diagram. I was gonna get mine done at autobarn, but i found a cheaper place

The keys u will be getting will have to be cut to the same size as watever ur keys r currently. And then u attached to the remote (2 remotes so u get 2 blanks). they r the same design as the mercedes ones, where the key is concealed and flicks out when u press the button, it got the red light on the remote too. The remotes have been programme for the alarm individual alarm = individual set of remotes. This is a replica of the mercedes remotes, check out autobarn, I'm pretty sure they have a similar system for $300 (normal remotes). and $100 is no where near the asking price. This is Brand new in box. So yeah I'm looking for $170. thanks anwayz
