  1. i say go with the s15, as it's alot newer. also the sr20 can hit the 200rwkw+ range easily with a fuel pump and tune.
  2. if it says on the vic roads site that you are allowed to drive with the overseas license, then you'll be fine. make a printout of the webpage just in case. alot of cops don't know what they're on about.
  3. get some contact cleaner and clean the afm, that would be a start. check all your hose clamps are tight.
  4. i'm down if i've got enough time after work tomorrow to take off all my defective crap. i'll keep posted.
  5. have you got any sort of cold air intake that could have sucked the water up?
  6. could someone please verify if BNR32001945 is a VSPEC model? would the program show information on this?
  7. Roy on here has some 260 odd kW at the rears. i personally havn't heard of much drastically higher than that. rather than spending dollars on making sure the engine is healthy up at the high kW range, people would rather go with the RB25 or RB26 as it's easier to acheive. though, it would be cool to see an RB20 hit the big 300. the lower compression engine would see some bad lag with a monstrous turbo.
  8. because this country sucks d*ck edit: ibtl
  9. haha nice, flooded with stickers.

    Bov Oil

if you're fluttering, your bov would be blocked. unscrew the bov flange and check for a blocking plate. by disconnecting the bov return hose, your bov remains atmospheric. this will cause the car to stall. get a catch can or even a coke bottle and connect it to your blowby lines.
  11. i agree, was pretty rank. weather was too windy and all the cars in the carpark got caked in dust! oh and who saw that champagne R34 GTR nur spec? *drools* i noticed alot of people started to veer off from the drifting and go down to where the music was at. the tunes were bangin! lol @ all the muzzas and ravers. it was like bubble meets evo haha.
  12. ps: unboxed pods are as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike
  13. it can be normal to an extent. the steering goes hard because of lack of revs, as it runs partially off the revs. if you sit there stationary and turn left to right you will notice the revs dropping and raising, but if it's going near to stalling then it may be a problem.
  14. dori spec
  15. +1 !

    Skyline R32 Gts

for the sake of money, headaches and originality just sell what you have and buy a GTS-t. otherwise save your money and drop a 30t in there.
  20. $1000?! omfg. ok i knew nissan were expensive but not that expensive damn.
  21. haha suspect
  22. it's not about the amount of compression as such, but if there's more than ~12psi difference between cylinders then it's not a good thing.
  23. i agree with this wholly. skylines are made to cop a belting and will ask for more. you just have to keep high maintenance. make sure you keep everything under/at it's limits and the car with run fine under most if not all conditions and situations.. eg: if you've got a stock fuel system and bolt on a huge turbo without a tune, you will come across problems eventually. you have to mod everything in consideration. if you go for a long drive you should make sure your turbo cools down before switching the car off. this site is a huge resource for that sort of stuff! as DRD-00F said, GTS-t's are safe at 12psi. make sure you have an aftermarket boost guage to monitor this. hope that helps!
  24. i would have said grey. congrats on your new car! hopefully i'll be seeing it cruising around reservoir
  25. haha i love that sleeper look! tuff car man. good luck with the sale
