i've been done. TMU in epping showed me a stat sheet from dotars which had the rb20det auto and the ca18det man/auto as the only nissan turbos you can drive. i even tried a weighbridge printout stating that mine weighed more than factory weight but it didnt work.
my rear main seal was leaking so i replaced it. now after a couple months it seems that it's leaking the slightest again. i can see oil buildup on the bottom of the gearbox.
what could be the cause of this. apart from the seal itself? my oil level seems to be fine, and i havn't got any other leaks. the new seal couldn't have shit itself already, but a few friends say the bursons seal i replaced it with it crap and i should have replaced it with genuine nissan seal.
opinions?
my top 6! too lazy to add any more
1. R32 GTR - the pioneer
2. R34 GTR Z tune - killer looks and style, the last of the skyline era
3. Nissan GTR - futuristic muscle, the new change
4. R32 GTSt - street stylez
5. S15 - sexy and sleek
6. 180sx - drift pig much?
i chose the coupe preferably for taste of looks.
i must admit 4 doors with a nice big kit on big wheels look nice too, but i'm not a fan of the tail lights.
my opinion: hks2530, nismo 600cc injectors, z32 afm, bosch 040/019 fuel pump and adjustable cam gears.
best person to chat to on here about this would be Roy.

i'm running 12.5 and havn't had any problems. i hear 12 is safe and 14 is pushing the limit but this is just heresay. i guess it also depends on your driving style, how you maintain your car, and how many km the turbo has done. just make sure you give it enough time to cool down after a hard run and keep it out of high boost in the heat.
