  1. catch cans collect the oil, moisture and gas that causes crap to build up in your intake. i think they're a great idea even on low powered cars
  2. a whole lot of meshuggah and mnemic
  3. i have this setup with a hks ssqv. if i atmo the standard bov i get stalling issues and have to heel and toe 24/7. whereas if i block the standard bov i get a compressor surge sound mixed with the aftermarket bov sound (not good for ceramic turbo). so what i did was plumback the standard bov and it runs fine but the sound is a mix of the standard bov and the ssqv. hope that helps
  4. what a monstrosity
  5. well good luck with the import
  6. don't know, but it looks cool that there's no brand name
  7. most cops arn't the smartest cookie's with turbo cars and would most likely be put off as a stagea to being a family wagon. even if your skyline is n/a, you still have more chance as it's a "skyline", and the "skyline" is easy to mod for power.
  8. looking for R32 GTR rolling shell, must be complied. if anyone can help send me a pm
  9. hey buddy can you pm me your number, i'm interested in the bov. ta.
  10. what a stupid kid
  11. that kid has too much time on his hands. who really gives a fk about his cordia!
  12. to the guys ranting on about which car is quicker, it all really depends on the driver at the end of the day. power is power but if you don't know how to use it then you'll lose against slower cars. back to the thread, wtf lpg? i wouldn't even bother. if you're considering buying a jap car but not spending the money pit that comes with it, then i wouldn't consider one at all. expect to be paying top dollar for fuel for a long time, with a car that knows how to drink it well.
  13. it sounds like your exhaust wheel died in the ass, and was spat out the exhaust. the main concern is if the inlet wheel went towards the cylinders
  14. damn that's nasty. hope everything's ok with you, as the car can always be replaced! if you were to keep it and wanted to fix it, i know of a workshop who love fixing up write off jap cars.
  15. try cleaning out the aac valve, it's usually the case: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t1...html&hl=aac
  16. not a fan of airbrushing either, but that looks mint!
  17. not being bias as my mechanic, but i recommend driftline racing in campbellfield as all the cars that i've seen fresh after spray are immaculate. he has done many nissan cars and has experience in the field. it won't be as cheap as chips but the quality is surely there.
  18. job at nissan? fuel prices never bothered me, aslong as i was enjoying driving my car. but now that i have too many expenses and i'm trying to cut down on driving, i feel the pain!
  19. i've always loved jeep wranglers. would be great for summer cruising!
  20. seems a bit fishy
  21. i wouldn't advise using it with a standard turbo.. sounds wierd.
  22. it is a replacement for your standard down/dump pipe. instead of gas from your turbo and wastegate mixing together in your standard dump pipe, it seperates the wastegate to be atmospheric which then becomes a screamer dump pipe. turbo - dump/down pipe with screamer - front pipe - cat - catback

  24. it's pretty much just a dump pipe with a atmo screamer. connects to your turbo, then to your front pipe.
