    Personal Plates.

for all the vlt fans out there:
  5. they sure are
  6. lalaa
  7. that's really sad to hear.. all the best with getting a decent payout
  8. i disagree. while having a smic i felt oncoming boost was cluttered. once i installed the fmic i noticed boost came on at the same revs per normal, and that the flow and pull of the boost was alot better. this was only with a catback zorst. at the end of the day some people say it lags but most say it doesn't.
  9. i also hear that non turbo cars can drink more than turbo cars, as the compression rate is different.. well that's of course if you don't get into boost revs
  10. if there was a place, it would charge stupid prices. whereas you can just get out a screwdriver and a ratchet set and do it yourself. there isn't much to skyline interiors.
  11. as long as you are doing it properly and matching revs i see it as a gearbox saver over time i personally don't like hearing the wind back sound of gearing down
  12. maybe this will clarify for those people out there who think their type-m gtst is an m-spec god i hate that
  13. welcome to skylines australia those headlights look tuff
  14. he's right on. no lag
  15. as a skyline lover and an R32 owner.. well you know what i would say it's easier to find parts for R32, and also note that parts are more expensive for the R33 i guess at the end of the day it's what you like and can afford
  16. do a search for idle hunting issues, theres lots of faq's about it
  17. would like to know too.. as this started to happen on a friends skyline
  18. hey guys just wondering if your fuel economy changed once you installed an aftermarket fuel pump please include pump and car, ta
  19. when i'm idling and sitting in the car i can feel the engine sort or pulsing or knocking randomly it's not major but it's something i noticed when it was dead quiet not sure if you would call it 'engine knock' but i'm thinking maybe my timing is out? anyone occurred this before?
  20. changed mine today.. i removed it from underneath using a hoist and fitted the new one from the top. just make sure you put some oil around the seal before you fit the new one
  21. motul 4100 turbolight is good stuff just did an oil change today running as smooth as a baby's bottom oil filter doesnt really matter if you go performance or the cheapies.. they all do the same job
  22. use a hole saw to cut the hole under the battery tray here's some pics: sorry about the dirty engine bay
  23. you will have better and cooler air flow once you install a fmic i personally think it's essential for the health of your motor.. especially when raising boost levels and living in the hotter conditions of australia, opposed to japan some people say they noticed more turbo lag, but for me i noticed it spooled the same, and went somewhat harder during full boost i would upgrade to fmic before anything else
  24. if you're not running high performance, then the chinese copies are fine as long as they're installed properly you shouldn't have any problems
  25. i have the drift comp 235/45VR17 on mine awesome tyres with awesome grip, and havn't worn down much in the 4 months i've had them
