  1. i've got bendix ultimates on the fronts, and shes been squealing under light braking load even with the old pads. the discs are fine, so i've learnt to put up with it. the first month or 2 was intense squealing, but over time it does it less. hope that helps
  2. my car whistles, pops, farts and sneezes. hah!
  3. hmm its time for me to do my timing belt aswell. i think ill leave it to an expert

  6. yeah, you guys have a valid point. i put the airbox back on. i'll get a bov later down the track if i feel like some wanker spec haha. thanks
  7. hmm yeah thats true, but i like the whistle and wanker woosh that the pod gives! just thought it would be a good idea as it would be less prone to heat as the pod by itself. i would get a pod cover but i have a fmic.. damn laws.
  8. hey guys i wanted to know if there's any information/diy about putting a pod filter inside the airbox? i don't want to go ahead and start cutting away incase i stuff up the airbox. sorry if there's already another thread about this, i've tried searching already. cheers
  9. thanks for your help guys i used water and baking soda with a scrubber to apply it it was getting off the surface crap and i could hear sizzling i think it worked because the surface is smooth again, but is there any way to get the stains off?
  10. hey guys, my battery on my r32 gts-t has finally died, due to draining it flat many times over. i replaced it yesterday and just today i noticed ive got battery acid (correct me if im wrong) on my cooler piping. im pretty sure this occurred just before i changed the battery, as ive had no probs with the new battery. seems that its eaten into the piping.. but im not sure if it will continue eating into my piping, and what to remove it with? heres a pic of the engine bay a close up of the pipe under the battery tray and the mark it left on the concrete thanks for your help guys

  13. hey guys, this may be a common prob but i did a search and couldnt find anything related to it. ok so i have a stock gearbox, clutch and diff in my r32. every time i change from 1st to 2nd, or 2nd to 3rd she glunks from around the middle of the car. not into the next gear, but as soon as its taken out of that gear. this usually wont happen if i change at real low revs. i also have the common bearing sound with the disengaged clutch also if that helps? ive been told it may be my syncros in my gearbox are fried, or my diff may need to be tightened? if so whats the costs? cheers
  14. hey peeps, im new to the skyline world i have a 1993 r32 gts-t with 3" catback and pod filter, running on 10psi im wanting to upgrade my pig to get something near the 200-220rwkw mark im soon to slap on a fmic, but im not sure what to do next for the cheapest alternative some q's: should i hiflo my r32 turbo? should i uprade to an r33 hiflo turbo? will i need to change/remap my ecu? will i need to change injectors and fuel pump? thanks in advance for anyone who can help!
