G'day mate, I also have a 1JZ-GTE with power steering and oil leaks. Do you have any pictures of your engine bay or power steering setup? I have a few small leaks in the hose i assume, but not sure if it is the rack. And recently I have lost half my engine oil due to a leak on the bottom end somewhere. Have you had any major oil leaks. replaced valve stem seals, cam seals or anything thing else since you have had it? Have you had any problems with it since you have owned it? Cheers.

The company is owned or part owner by a tightarse called Damien Lester. His little posse of parking henchmen have started to clamp wheels if you don't pay for parking. I used to never pay their dodgey fines that they stuck on my windscreen as they couldn't possibly enforce them. But now they will clamp your wheel and charge $100 to take it off. The only way they can enforce fines is if you pay it, then they have your address for next time. The guy that goes around and does the fines drives a small black 2 door car that looks like a Toyota Echo, it has smart parking system decals all over it. A bunch of dodgey pricks. I can give you the rego of his car and the rego of the guy that clamps wheels if you like.

I had a Blitz BOV on my old 1G for a while. But it didn't vent much at all since there was a problem with the engine. I think it was very low compression in the end. A friend of mine welded the standard metal peice the BOV came with from a Silvia to fit the 1G. I ran about 15PSI in the end with and without a BOV. How about just cut loose the 1G and get a 1JZ?

Hey Rob, The Antenna should be on the rear window in what looks like a demister strip. I used to have a 1G and it never occured to me to worry about not having a BOV, as it didn't produce much boost stock.

I thought Brazil was a huge maker of Alcohol and that their cars ran on Alchohol? How do they get around this?

How about running a mixture of ethenol instead? It burns colder and should be cheaper. If tuned correctly it should create a lot of power. Bacardi 151 duty free sounds good
