  1. Ok well ill get onto that asap then.. Not sure what exactly is was, it was 1520 of some sort of measurement. Will a hiflow turbo do 230rwkw?
  2. HI guys. Ive recently had my r33 gts25t tuned on the dyno, it made 207rwkw @ 13psi. Setup is a power fc, 300zx afm, 500hp pump, hiflowed steel wheel standard turbo, 3" catback exhaust, fmic. The gas used was only 95octane, so next time will use 98 (thought it had 98 in it) , and is running 18degrees advanced timing @ 13psi. Torque was something like 1520nm Im going to take it back for a retune, as im really wanting at least 230rwkw. Whats my best option of getting this sort of power with my current setup and by not having to change turbos and will upgrading my downpipe make much of a diff. Thanks

Aiming for midrange for drifting dont want to much lag. 20psi on 550cc injectors, retuned ecu by myself with plenty of timing
  5. right, so sorted that problem out, saw where it was ment to go... but now the damn things leakin out the top. all hoses tight, just wondering if i need to put some silicon around it or something?

  8. shoulda added, its gotta aftermarket pump. hmm damn sidefeed injectors, arent cheap to upgrade like em top feeds. must be able to get more than 180kw, rb20det's can get that

  11. so i installed a walbro, but when i pulled the stock pump out it was loose as on the bracket . e.g. the bracket could move around and i literally pulled it out.. so i put the walbro back in like this, but it needs to be fulled right up to even run otherwise it doesnt suck through fuel, and it looses fuel goin around corners... is there some sort of special way they need to be placed in because at the mo it aint good.
  12. anyone know what power the stock injectors max out around on a rb25det?. and how valuble is the VVTi. ive gotta rb20 ecu i can use to tune it up, but not sure about losing it. i know its activated by oil pressure, but is there also a 12v or 5v input which switches it on kinda like the vtec, cause if thats the case then i can use a RPM switch to turn it on.
  13. yeh i do abit of ecu retuning myself and i know that its not the ecu thats playing up. its only running 9psi, and at half throttle psi it goes well, but at full throttle 9psi it goes the same but feels like its bein held back. i should probly check fuel pressure, but i dont know the best way to go about this? is there any homemade sorta rig i can use to check it?

  15. yeh youll need a larger afm. can also put your rb20det AFM into bigger piping, adjust the k value in the fuelmap and should work fine. may have problems with idling tho; never done it myself but heard of it. DR Drift i believe is onto it with this sorta stuff. i have a mate who works with him nowadays who i know is damn onto it.

  17. yo. been lurkin around here for a while but never signed up anyway, ive got a r33 gts25t and just upgraded the stock turbo to a hiflowed version. added a 500hp fuel pump, and basically the car runs like shit. it goes faster at half throttle than full, or more like the same speed but feels like its being held back bigtime. i replaced the fuel filter not so long ago. the engine idles at 500rpm and will always stall if i dont try keep it running.. there are no air leaks. if i keep my foot down fully it will evenly start popping out the intake i believe and sometimes back fires. before doing the turbo and fuelpump i had snapped 6 exhaust studs so it wasnt really boosting anyway as there were massive leaks, but before these leaks i ran mint. i know the o2 sensor wiring is stuffed, but the ecu doesnt use the o2 sensor on boost anyway. Any ideas?? thanks
