well i just found out i passed my CPA taxation exam. so pretty happy. the only tip i have is that if you dont feel like studying, dont. you wont get any benefit just sitting there staring at a book. You really have to be in the 'mood' if thats ever possible

RB25 DET, depending on engine condition, should be able to handle about 250 - 290 RWKW fairly reliable. However they have been known to hold more. Another important factor in keeping pistons healthy is all the support hardware in place. Injectors, fuel pump, appropriate ECU, competant tuner, oil cooler etc... etc...

why dont you tell us the tuner you have in mind, and we will tell you if they are any good. hyper...h are only for people wanting to spend over 5k for a tune....and dont expect to get your hand controller back because the tune will be 'so good' that they wont want you screwing with it.

no RB26dett ever came out from the factory with any form of variable cam timing. HKS has released a VCT on the inlet side only as an add on to the GTR head. hehe

not very... need to change all external hardware: injectors, computer, manifold, wastegate, clutch, fuel pump etc not to mention the thing will be laggy as all fu(k on a stock bottom end.

the only people in Australia who have the English Version Software for the HKS Fcon V Pro are Bd4's in Sydney. I do not know of any other workshop in australia who have the software, let alone the English Version. If someone else has a copy, chances are it is in Japanese.

I have only seen 1 completly successful 3.0 ltr installation into a 33 GTR. by successful i mean makes over 400 rwkw reliably and confidently. sure there are people out there who will take your money, but dont realise that the rb26 sump wont fit on a 3.0 ltr without a major engineering effort. its not a case of 'chuck in a vl block and she will be right mate' there is great expense, modification and engineering effort required for the extra 400cc. Put up with a little lag, get a smaller turbs, or fork out up to 30k.
