I only have 2 questions: Are Street legal drag radials (which i assume your planning to run when you say street tyres) capable of 8sec passes, or do you need full slicks? Would a slider clutch/hydraulic gearbox be more suitable to this sort of goal? Cant wait to see progress pics! Good Luck

What i find most amusing about the whole situation is the lack of contenders for executive position elections on the committee as little as 4 months ago. IF my memory Serves me correctly the number of candidates were as follows Pres = 2 Vice = 1 Treasurer = 1 Secretary = 1 If you want to change the club because you don't like the way it is being run, put YOURSELF up for nomination. Its pretty simple really. I guess its a lot easier being behind a keyboard than being in front of a club with well well over 200 members

I’m not sure why your laughing at the fact people recommend MiColour. People will only recommend them if they have had a good experience anyway! TWO main reasons: - MiColour is a Major sponsor of SAU Vic. Of course we are going to recommend them! I don’t see any other panel beaters putting their money where their mouth is for SAU VIC. - You can guarantee that in 2 months time there will be a post saying my 1k paint job is sh1t (not necessarily by jonesl, but you get my point) How many posts do you see saying my Ebay/Chinese XXX part doesn't fit, or its crap quality or there are runs in my paint, or my 1k quoted paint job cost me 3k, or i have been back 4 times and its still not right...its endless! At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. YES you can minimise the expense by doing a lot of the prep yourself, but if you don’t know what your doing, it will cost you the same anyway. You CAN spend 1k somewhere else, yes you will probably find a backyard guy to do it, but for the extra $$ upfront, it will save you twice as much $$ and time WELL into the future....if your looking to hang onto the car

Just go another today (deleted member already) As i dont use PM's much it might be a dumb question, but is there a timer limit (like posing on the forums) for sending PM's? IE You can only send 1 PM per minute or so? It may at least slow down the amount of PM's they can send
