  1. Sorry to dig up this thread but I'm just looking for advice on exhaust systems too. I've currently got a Nismo catback which came on the car when I imported it. I tried doing some research and from what I understand it's 80mm pipe? I'm looking for a high flow cat and front pipe that will work well with it.. is anyone able to help point me in the right direction? The current setup gives a nice exhaust note that I really like. I had to put in a silencer when doing a noise test and it just sat on 90dB, so something that won't make it too much louder would be good. Also will the Just Jap 3" high flow cats work fine since those are 76mm?

Yeah I've taken my previous car and this car to Vu religiously so I'll be doing it again this time. He's a good friend of mine and does such an awesome job! Never been able to find a fault before! Hope you car comes back slick!

Ah Charles so that's your car I keep seeing at DT How long til yours is done? Mine will be joining yours there soon to get some stuff painted and fitted!
  4. I purchased this second one as well which has digital TV http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=270439423461 It's very similar to the first one I bought with only slight differences such as - In GPS mode if you adjust the volume, it adjusts the music volume rather than the voice commands volume (I think this is better because most of the time I just drive around with the GPS map showing but with no set destination, so I want to be able to adjust the volume without temporarily going to radio/cd mode then back to the map. - It seems to play music off the iPhone via bluetooth without needing to plug the ipod connector in. Only thing is, when the ipod connector is plugged in, the music doesn't go through to the unit but plays out of the iPhone speaker. Just a few tiny things like that. I'm not as big of a fan of the GUI on this compared to the first one I got either. All in all it still does what I bought these to do, so I'm very happy with it!
  5. I travel all the way to Sparkling Car Wash once every fortnight to wash my car there too with all of my friends.. we try to go when there's no one else there because we tend to fill up the whole place haha. Once the one opens on Williamsons Road, I'll be going there to try it out too since it's 5 mins from home but Sparkling will probably be the main home for me to meet with everyone to wash at since they all live out east /south east side, it's a central meeting spot for us!
  6. I'd like to know the part number too.. my friends GT-T has the little pic of the pollen filter showing on his display so I think it could be indicating it needs a change?
  7. Is the blitz still on? I need to head down to Chapel St in like 45 mins time and don't have a spare car

Spotted a wingless bayside blue R34 GTT or GT on Bell Street about 5:10pm tonight. From a distance, I thought I was seeing a mirror of my car heading the opposite way hehe.
  9. I got the reverse camera hooked up.. so far I'm just going to leave the surrounding dash piece off while I try to source another one to modify a little to make it fit around this unit. Works pretty well, very clear, night time isn't a problem either.

Some silver R33 (I think) came out of nowhere and flew up behind me as I passed DT Panels on Sunday night.. was following real close to me until I put my blinker on, they put their blinker on too... then I turned in to a side street and they realised it was a no through road and turned in but did a u-turn and went off. I don't see what the point of chasing me was lol..
  11. Was just looking this up for myself 2 weeks ago haha. This place has good costumes and can do next day delivery to Vic! www.costumebox.com.au Others: www.amazingtransformations.com.au (Glen Iris) www.razzlecostumes.com.au (Camberwell)
  12. +1 for DT Panels I've had all my work done there for my previous car and my current car.
  13. Thanks I managed to get it out but now I have the problem of finding a battery to replace it with. I went to pick up a Century and got the correct one according to the product book but found that it's the incorrect size. I did a bit more research and found the Exide site listed the LM51D as the correct size but it was still too big What batteries have you guys used? And where have you bought it from?
  14. Haha if I worked for VicRoads, I wouldn't put information like that up coz they'd probably fire me But it's all available freely online for vehicle checks!
  15. A quick run of the rego seems to show it's real.. I think? Vehicle Registration: URA259 VIN/Chassis Number: ZA9C005A0GLA12912 Engine Number: L507V41118 Vehicle Make: LAMBORGHINI Vehicle Colour: BLACK Body Type: COUPE Year of Manufacture: 1986
  16. Yeah that's my mate with the S5, he does own Garage Cafe Damn nice car! I asked him to trade with mine but he shockingly declined haha Anyway, keeping it on topic.. I came up beside this.

    Wintonnnn Cruize

Straight up the Hume Highway You can get off at the Benalla exit, sweep left and go to the first roundabout. Turn right at that roundabout and you're heading through Benalla town centre.. it's basically straight the entire way through a few more roundabouts. You'll pass Maccas on your left and KFC on your right if you want a snack .. keep going straight and past the Hume re-entry.. there will be a sign for a right turn in to Winton
  19. Is the rear seat way possible at all? I need to remove my rear seats to do some wiring, and since my battery is living on it's last gasps now, if it can be done at the same time through the rear seat, that would be easier. Is it just a matter of removing the seats and then you can remove the plate behind it to get to the battery? Or is boot the way to go?
  20. Just an update, the unit is working perfectly fine. I finally found time to ground the parking wire so the TV/DVD function works. Picture quality is brilliant for video/DVD although I think I'll try to find an alternative to the small antenna it came with for TV use. Reverse camera is handy since the wing is restricting view out of the rear, it lets me see if there's any objects behind me, so long as I don't start relying on it then it's a good addition to have It also has an outline of distance overlayed over the rear camera display so you can judge parking manouveres. I went to Gary's Car Radio and inquired about an alternative antenna option. They recommended and use on their own cars, an in bumper antenna which sits behind the front AND rear bumper so it's not visible, but the best he could do is $270. Also there is the option of a windshield film antenna for $180 which he said works very well also. I saw online that the windshield film antenna type can be had for $40-50 but I'm not sure how that would compare in it's ability to pick up signal to the $180 one he quoted me. Maybe it's the same
  21. Is that price for both WRX seats? Which suburb are you located in?
