When a push notification comes up and you unlock the phone to the notification, it automatically starts the app lol. If you put the phone back to standby when the push message comes up, then you can unlock it without starting the app. Currently my Discoverable setting is set to Off.. can you tell me if you can see my location right now Charles? Just testing lol.

Do you guys put Discoverable to ON? Does this mean people can see where I live? Might leave caravaning off..

Added you both, mine is "unco"

Just got back from a weigh bridge meet. We went to one in Kilsyth, nice people there, let us negotiate to quickly run 15 cars on.. it only took 10 minutes to do. I filled up a full tank just outside the weigh bridge so it would be easier to calculate. Came in at 1600kg (weighbridge rounds to the nearest 20kg). So minus ~55kg for full tank, plus I have the boot stripped out, it seems about right when compared to the spec sheet (1560kg). These are our results to the closest 20kg: Daihatsu Sirion GTVi, 100% fuel - 900kg Honda S2000, ~50% fuel - 1220kg Honda Beat, ~25% fuel - 760kg Nissan 350Z, 100% fuel - 1520kg Nissan Pulsar Gti-R, ? fuel - 1260kg Nissan Skyline R31, ~50% fuel - 1400kg Nissan Skyline R34 GTR Vspec, 100% fuel - 1600kg Nissan Skyline V35 350GT, ~50% fuel - 1560kg Mazda MX5 soft top, ~50% fuel - 980kg Mazda MX5 hard top, ~50% fuel - 1000kg Mitsubishi Evo8 MR, ? fuel - 1440kg Mazda RX7 FD3S, ~10% fuel - 1240kg Suzuki Ignis, 100% fuel - 920kg Toyota Celica ZR, 100% fuel - 1160kg Toyota Soarer almost completely stripped of everything, ~30% fuel - 1420kg

Yup parked I drive past there to and from work every day. Always see a couple of R33's parked along that strip of shops.. and the black S15 is always in the same spot haha. Last night was driving home about 2am along Springvale Rd heading north. Got to the Ferntree Gully Rd lights and there were four R31's having some fun off all the lights. Spoke to one of the guys at the lights outside Glenny and he said all of them just got done along Princess No surprise to me.. Why do people continuously go there knowing it's a hot spot. Or do they go there BECAUSE it's a hot spot.

What's caravan feature? I haven't even looked around much in the menus of Trapster. Is it basically the same as Google Latitude?
-
Cheers Adz! I'll give it a shot some time soon hopefully!

Ebay has some, never had experience with them though so can't tell you the quality. I have the standard xenons in, I assume they're 35w.. if I wanted to go for 55w, is it hard to get to the stock ballasts to switch them as well? In my previous car, the stock ballasts were pretty well integrated in to the headlight assembly which made it pretty tough to do..

Spotted a white R33 green P-plater with SAU stickers on Dougharty Rd today on my way home from work.
-
Yeah it's available on Nokia. Check here for compatible phones. http://trapster.com/download_phones.php
-
Definitely not. This app is compatible with other phones too so you should shop around for one you like
-
You could always turn off the fixed speed camera alerts if you're confident you know all of them on your daily routes anyway. I never run my Trapster while driving, I just leave it to push the latest "traps" to me. If I pass one or see one then I'll do my bit and report it though

R34 Gtr 4wd/a-lsd Lights On
UnCo replied to UnCo's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hey Paul, I had a feeling it could be that.. the throttle sensor display has been rather irratic on the MFD (when I hold constant throttle at say 20% throttle, the display shows it jumping between 18-22% whereas if I hold the throttle at a constant in the TPS calibration, it stays steady) Trent down at Status Tuning said that he was getting a TPS error code but when we ordered a new TPS from Nissan and put that in, it didn't have any changed effect? So you mean try mashing the accelerator pedal when in idle or something? -

I found this http://www.skyline-owners-club.com/forums/...tessa-code.html And for the Attesa codes.. just got to figure the instructions for R34. Hopefully I can do it this weekend. http://tyndago.googlepages.com/gt-rattesainfrormation -
Hi guys & gals, I'm getting an issue with my 34GTR where the 4WD and A-LSD warning lights are coming on the dash and the car is only running RWD. It was thought that the PowerFC was faulty and the cause of the issues and so the stock ECU was put back in the car last week. The issue seemed to go away and all was good until two days ago it started happening again. So it seems the PowerFC wasn't the issue and now I'm hoping people here can help me diagnose the problem! Things to note: - I usually find out if the car will be 4WD or RWD when I first start the car. The light either comes on or doesn't come on within the first 2 seconds of starting the car. - If it comes on then I can turn the car off and start it again until it doesn't come on. - I've noticed that if I start the car and give it a bit of revs, then it doesn't happen. - Sometimes in traffic when I decide to turn on the A/C or rear demister or even the headlights, it makes the 4WD/A-LSD light come on and then the car is in RWD again. Battery is brand new, fitted 8 days ago, no voltage issues that I can see. Does anyone have an Electronics Parts Guide that I can see the sensors to check? Hoping to get to the bottom of this, it's frustrating Thanks guys!
