  1. I took a few days to completely install it. That's not to say the car was off the road for that time, I just took extra time to run the wires through to the boot and rear bar for the rear camera etc.. and each night I'd put the car back together enough to use it again to get to work. Still going strong, fingers crossed for that to continue
  2. Thanks everyone for the info! Have to specially thank Terry for keeping an eye out for me and emailing me when he saw them for sale on here, I've contacted the seller and going to check them out on Wednesday hopefully! Nathan, those carbon ones look nice but way out of my budget unfortunately Interesting to note that they come with the extra vent compared to the original z-tune style too.
  3. I did one of these a while ago for Hankook Tyres. Managed to get a group of my friends who are all keen car enthusiasts to join the same session as me.. 45 mins of our time, $$ in the pocket haha. Too bad I don't suit the age bracket for this one!

White 34 on Gilbert Rd crossing across Bell Street this morning. Didn't get a good look but I think I saw an SAU sticker.

I was just driving home from my gf's house just now and found myself in a group of cars including an R31, FG XR6 P-plater, VS Commodore P-plater, all seeming to be enjoying themselves at each set of lights. Spotted a yellow (or could've been white, the orangey street lights didn't help) R34 GT-T with big wing and shopping list down the doors doing a u-turn at Springvale Rd and Ferntree Gully Rd just ahead of the group, so probably not a part of them. I think I saw an RE Customs sticker on the side window.
  6. Thanks Terry for the info, I emailed you a couple of days ago, not sure if you got it. I'm a little weary with buying from JSAI after hearing about the issues people have had lately with not receiving parts or refunds.. and also not being able to contact them easily. I'm in Melbourne so wouldn't be able to go there if anything were to go wrong. If only Bodyform Aero made them, they were a breeze to deal with. Maybe I'll have to bite the bullet and give JSAI a try. All in the name of finishing the look of the car!

Silver R33 GTR with gold rims turning from Bell St to Albert St this morning.
  8. No one knows any place that might possibly do these?
  9. Where exactly is that spot in the photo?

Admit it, you signed up specifically to find out who this attractive woman is
  11. I had mine complianced with factory xenons, I guess it depends where you go to how strict they are. Then when I took it to VicRoads, they didn't bother checking the lights, just the VIN and Engine No and I was out of there in 10 mins
  12. Interested to see updates on the coil pack cover and how that withstands heat. Charles, I'll hit you up as soon as I get my car back. Don't know exactly how long that will be though sorry!
  13. Oh how I miss Japan, so much awesomeness in one place should be illegal haha.
  14. LOL @ lighter! Awesome!!
  15. Hey everyone, tried doing a search but couldn't find much at all. I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can source these from locally and how much you've seen them going for. To buy genuine from Japan is going to cost an arm and a leg. I got replica Z-Tune skirts and rear pods from Bodyform Aero in Sydney and they were extremely good quality but unfortunately they don't have the guards. Any help would be appreciated!
  16. You can buy LED bulbs from electronics stores like Jaycar or Dick Smith. Not too sure how the tail lights look when removed so I don't know how easy it would be to get to changing a few of them but I'm sure it could be done with a little bit of time. Just curious, is that the LED tail light set from JustJap? Do you have any pictures looking directly from the rear of the car?
  17. Yours flashes red at 90 degrees? Mine from default gets reset back to 120 degrees as the warning. Daily driving on hot days can see my temps hit up to 95+ if I have the air conditioner on.

Silver R35 on Greensborough Road about 5:30pm last night.. same one I keep seeing over and over. Just noticed it has custom plates.. those lucky chinese ones I think.
  19. I did a quick search for you.. looks like it's separate to the cluster so you might be able to find a replacement?
  20. Haha +1 if you can pull that off it'd be an awesome legal alternative lol.
  21. Good luck with the warranty claim, will be interesting to see how it turns out. Also keep us posted on the antenna test
  22. Hey mate, do you have a pic and specs of the intercooler?
  23. I got mine done by Norm and Norm's Auto Air in Ringwood just near Car City. He stayed open for me late so I could pop by after work. 10 mins and I was on my way! Nice bloke too!
  24. Averaging 13L/100km over the last 20000kms, track days excluded from calculation. Babying it day to day though. I can get about 420km per tank before the light comes on. I'm trying my heart out to hit the 500km mark in daily driving without the help of going on long trips via the highway. Used to get 14-15/100km when I first got the car and it was completely stock except for cat back exhaust. Have to admit that I was in new toy mode though.
  25. When I first got the app, I thought it'd be useless because no one would be reporting stuff. Found out that there are a lot of people using it and quite a few people in my area are regular users because all of the traps have been reported by the same reliable sources It's good to have a quick check of the "Recent Traps" list before you head out on a drive. It gave me a heads up once that I would be going through a booze bus, but I had no choice but to go that way haha.
