come to think of it, ive done some recording of guitar stuff on this laptop - i have used FLstudio and Cool Edit, they both work perfectly. I just plug my recording stuff straight into the mic port and all works as expected. this laptop was actually made for recording and DJ'n- but i deleted the programs off it to install my own the recording programs previously installed were - Sonic RecordNow! 7; Sony SonicStage 2.1; Sony SonicStage Mastering Studio 1.4; Sony SonicStage Mastering Studio Audio Filter 1.4. im sure you will have your own custom DJ'n software which will work much better than these standard programs anyway!! the sound hardware installed is Intel and Realtek High Definition Audio compatible; 3D audio (Direct Sound 3D support)

hey guys, there is no warranty as it is not transferrable. But i am more than happy to write you a reciept if you want to claim it on tax or something. I am sure you would be able to use it for dj'n. Sony always use all the best parts and hardware which is why i bought it in the first place, it is great to use for everything. Its a very powerful laptop and when i bought it, it was just as expensive as a top of the range mac!! I've just always preferred windows. The model number is Sony Vaio VGN-FS18GP.
