hey i had a similar problem i had a autowatch and asked my mechanic to install my apexi pen and he said no because he didnt know how to do it properly with my type of alarm... so i guess if he tried might have ended up like yours

new ones splitfires are 485 delivered from slide i think, and you can install your self easy

checked your coils ? and have you changed your spark plug since about 5000k from the last change? i think something along the ignition lines

yer well it is illegal to not have your front mount covered by your front bar so yer i think it is illegal
