  2. whats your ride height set at ? From the pics, looks like it could stand do go up a few cm's...
  3. i was quoted $415 per tyre fitted and balanaced for Federal 595RS 265/35/18 at my local tyre place... seems a bit expensive, but then the amount ill pay in fuel to get somewhere cheaper makes it simple to just go local.
  4. Common guys.. need some more GTR's in the top 10. cant let the evo's win !
  5. 13 flat with a good launch on streets.. high 12 with some semi's/slicks.
  6. pming you
  7. question.. what aftermarket racing seat can i get that will sit lower than the stock GTR seat. The stock GTR seat is ok, but i wouldnt mind something thats an inch of 2 lower.. would make heel toeing a lot easier.
  8. spotted gun metal grey 32 on Bermida street with SAU sticker on the side skirtz. didn't get to wave but hi!
  9. valve stem seals maybe ?
  10. sorry for bailing. I was thinking of coming along in the rain, but ended up seeing the girl instead i heard the cops were out on the Nerang-Murwillumbah Road... link here -> http://www.goldcoast.com.au/article/2008/0...coast-news.html
  11. I'll be at this one - morning session methinks. It's my first time on the track but I think im just gonna jump straight into TimeAttack and hope that the cars power makes up for my lack of racing experience.
  12. lag is just a state of mind.. theres no lag if your over 5000rpm right ? cant wait to meet some of you guys at the May track day. Looking forward to popping my race track cherry (RACE TRACK cherry noel, don't get excited) ^_^
  13. hmm.. ill be at the may track day @ QR.. will the DB tester be available then as well ?
  14. if its pinging at 3000-4000rpm, you might be a bit lucky and escape any major damage.. few scorch marks maybe... i wouldn't be pushing your luck tho. I believe 40psi is fine on the fuel pressure, so assuming you have that, most likely culprit is the tune on the ECU... either too much timing or too lean a tune in that rev range... Go aftermarket and get a tuner to do a proper tune or get a stock ecu to replace it. yes it could be the AFM reporting incorrect (too low) air flow causing the ECU to think their is less air than there is and consequently injecting less fuel, causing detonation. again, borrow one to test. What sort of fuel are you using ??
  15. 400 ? typo ????? and yea, im not gonna bother with lakeside till they have semi realistic noise restrictions =\ a stock HSV or anything with some grunts would prob be above 92 at the top of a gear going along that straight.
  16. keep in mind, cops will be thick as thieves over easter. im keepin as low a profile as possible during the long weekend
  17. em didn't spin out.. she was just showing us a 180 degree handbrake maneuver.. show off imo
  18. also do the obvious - check your intake for blockages / leaks.. Could have sucked up some crap thats blocking up your air filter and not allowing enough air through to generate boost. Although BOV/wastegate definately more likely.
  19. doesnt need to be different, that was awesome. Taark - no worries mate, was good fun hanging around chatting If anybody from last night wants to add me to msn, its -> "gervase AT allegro DOT com DOT au" (replace the capitalized words with the normal symbols).
  20. going out on a limb here, but do you think it might belong to his gf/wife/SO ?
  21. heres mine - rebuilt rb26 running a t04z. ~400awkw @ 20psi
  22. details
  23. night shuttle launch happening in about 15 minutes. http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/
  24. Paulr33 was looking at what was involved in doing this, but decided to not continue the project after people found new sources of pfc's. Your best bet is to sell that one second hand (~$1000 ?) and look to buy one for an r34 gtt.
  25. 10.8 in street trim is pretty fkn fast........ you take out the rear seats, air con, etc. and put a set of big slicks on it, your looking at breaking 10 seconds imo.
