  1. bump bump bump (MC Hammer) Car is now on boost and 1 or 2 other places as well. Have already found a few GTR's i'm interested in, so would like this gone in the next few weeks. As per above, pm or phone me with offers or questions, but no trades unless its for a 33 GTR. Thanks, Gervase
  2. Noel's running a GT3540.. definately good for over 400rwkw. Your definately going to need cams though. Why do you want to keep the stock low mount ?
  3. yea im not too sure about it... a lot of power with stock rods and pistons.. I spose i could pick it up cheap, spend a few grand on forged pistons and rods and do the bearings at the same time... then add aftermarket oil cooler and it'd be getting close to track ready.. we'll see. someone buy my gts-t ! clicky
  4. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/de...html&hl=GTR i dont think its the one your thinking of but what one is ? I heard someone else mention a white 33 gtr with an N1 motor but wouldnt say what was wrong with it. ive gone a bit off this one as im after more of a track car and that one looks like its been setup for drag.. and i doubt that motor will survive many track days.. too much power through stock N1. Not to mention its ugly as sin
  5. only 350rwkw ?? I thought many standard rb26's could pull that amount although obviously it would definately be pushing the upper limits... i was hoping that the N1 could push out 400rwkw reliably.. im looking at buying a 33GTR with an N1 engine tuned for 396rwkw.. any more thoughts on this ?
  6. anything to block it off. do not leave it open - that will cause you to have an air leak. have fun stalling
  7. 24 hours and no posts.. what kind of whores are you.
  8. *bump* Car will be going up on boost & car sales if i get no interest this week.. would prefer an SAU member to pick this up! pm me any offers or q's.
  9. Hmm, heres a question for the wise. How much power can a N1 engine reliably support. I know stock RB26 is good for 300+ rwkw.. From wiki: The water cooling channels in the block are enhanced for better flowing. The block, and internal components are also strengthened. The pistons have 1.2 mm (0.0 in) top rings, but otherwise as standard. The connecting rods are the same as standard, and the crankshaft is standard but balanced. The specifications of the camshafts were also improved for power. The N1 engine uses the same parallel twin turbocharger layout but with improved turbochargers. The N1 engine also received an upgraded oil pump and water pump, to improve the cooling and lubrication of the engine.
  10. The series 1.5 didnt come with an airbag (afaik) so yes i believe its legal. It was on the car when I got it and I got given a RWC no probs.. Haven't been given any defects in the 14 months i've owned it. RWC will be provided with sale.

JBL 6 channel, 550watt amp. Comments: Makes an easy 230rwhp @ 10psi. Tuned by Matt Spry at PITS. Car is very reliable and has given me no problem in the 14 months that i've owned it. Have done just under 10,000 k's on it since i've owned it and it has been serviced twice. The suspension is comfortable but you feel the road nicely. Power is great and very linear. Boost is available from low 2's as is typical with the stock turbo. Am selling to upgrade to a r33 GTR! As you can see in the photos, the car is in very good nick for its age with the exterior and interior both in good condition. This car has been my daily driver and as such hasn't been drifted or raced. Am not in a particular rush to sell, but am looking at getting a GTR in the next month or 2.. Asking $13,500 or $13,000 for interstate buyer as i get money from rego back. Will negotiate a lower price without some of the parts (stereo, safc) but would prefer to sell as is. Pm me if you have any questions. Images:
  20. Hmmm =\ can you hop on msn noel... i want to pick that brain of yours
  21. interesting... the 272's will help bring on boost lower yes ? just how laggy are we talking about with that turbo.. did some reading and someone that had it on a rb25 was hitting boost low 4k's, full boost by 4800 or something... i figure with the slightly larger engine and cam adjustments you could get it even lower i guess worse case would be sell it and put a t04z on there like you said. What about that diff thats on there.. its going to be fair terrible to go around a corner yes ? whats a good LSD worth ?
  22. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/2-...tr-t197087.html im seriously considering buying it..... anyone have any comments ? I'm fairly sure that diff is illegal.. anything else ?
  23. edit: o0o0o, it was a wet track day.. will be rwd would have struggled.. will be interesting to see how he goes on a dry track !
  24. whores.. also i hear noel ran a 1.09 around Clubman a few days ago.. not bad for a first time, but a while to go before he breaches the top 10: http://www.timeattack.com.au/top_ten/2wd-clubman.htm
  25. the DIY guide is easier to use than the manual if you offer beers, im sure a handy SAU member will help, else take it to a decent skyline mechanic and pay $100 to get installed. Your tuner may also offer to install it for a fee. (Matt Spry installs them for $100 i think)
