  1. Just been in contact with 2rismo, looking at sourcing some facilities for when these guys come over. Would be the fastest Jap import we've seen run since Keir Wilson brough his over.

Thanks for the offer but I have facilities covered, I've got friends who run a Drag car in Perth and they have a large workshop there to, I'll let you know nearer the time after I've made the move over, may be a good idea to organise something so you guys can come take a close first look at her before the event?

2rismo & GTS-t VSPEC, I will keep you both informed by PM as to what is happening, thanks for your help.

  2. Hi guys and Girls,

I'm emigrating to your shores next month, I've been coming over to Perth for the last nine years to visit friends and have spent a lot of time at the Motorplex, anyway been talking to John the owner of http://www.projectgtst.com (updates here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t=0&start=0 ) about bringing the car over to run there early next year, He is hopping to get this car in to the sevens so I'm sure many of you would like to see the car in action, what I need to know is what event would be best to run this car at? I've been to the Westernationals which seems like a good big event but is there any large Jap shows around March/April time?

Any feed back would be great thanks.

  3. word of advice, turn your wheel the other way next time, usually people want to check out the rims not the tread on the tires. >_<

other than that, nice car :D

lol there was a good reason for that, I didn't have the new wheels fitted to the front at the time, needed to fit a H&R hub centric spacer kit to clear the calipers.

For toughs who like to see the wheels..

  4. If your doors have just dropped at the back (lock end), because the hinges have been bent slightly, a good tip is to fit a thin washer between the hinge and the door, on the bottom thread of the bottom hinge, this will lift the rear of the door by a mm or so depending on the thinness of the washer, but at the same time the front of the door will remain the same :P

  5. I'm sure some of you have heard about Project gtst here in the UK, Well I have recently just finished repainting the car for John, He decided to change her in to a fully tubbed Pro mod car for 2007, thought you guys would like a look :)

Came to me looking like this..

    And work began,

    New wing vents added..

Insides of the carbon doors where coated in Mipa Gemini, a green/copper/gold flip transparent pearl and laqcuerd..

The body was painted in a light blue pearl first then the detailing masked out..

Detailed ares where painted black, car de-masked and coated in more of the Mipa Gemini..

    The body was then laqcuerd..

For the Nismo style bonnet we went black with the light blue on the vents, again more Mipa Gemini and lacquerd..

The car then went to Andy Robinson Race cars for all tubbing, rear end, suspension etc, and GTart for the new engine,

Weighing in at under 1000kg and power up to 900hp at the rear, Some quick times should be seen out of the car this year :)
