Now that several of us have been to DECA before, we're definately taking it to them this time. If I start running as well as I did at the end of the day last time I'll move up considerably (a more sorted car doesn't hurt either).

I suspect we might be able to get you local to let us follow you around for a couple laps and learn the lines?

I'm still good for Winton on Friday. If I'm driving that many miles, getting another day of motorsport is a good thing. Are passenger allowed at Winton? Would be good to catch a ride with one of the locals to learn the track.

I keep coming back and looking at this wondering if I could get the wife to let me buy a track GTR as well. I'm finding that the fun I have with my car isn't about the street but is really on the track and skidpad, etc. It does look like a well built machine.

Great day for me. Paul got me from 1:21 to running somewhere around 1:16. Think I can definately knock more off of that with practice. I'm still convined I'm a ways from needing more HP and the major gains are all about the driver. The car handled fantastic. The SK bits had it very well balanced and it was never in doubt. In my case spending on the stabalizer bars, camber & castor kits was the right call over shocks/coils. Recommed it for Jess's car

Remember we need to save some slots for "Paul" Pancho Villa and the Mexicans. They save us spots for DECA so we should keep 10 spots for them. I don't think you will have any problems filling this up. Mona - much more fun than the track. Much easier on the car. For all our younger members who think they are hot on the streets - boys - lets see if you can do something that requires skill. Anyone with HP can smoke tyres....

Not a strategy I've heard of before for faster lap times....

I'm absolutely in. Great event and wear and tear on the car is minimal (though last DECA someone blew a turbo). It's really more about skill than horsepower as we saw a uber horsepower GTR rarely get into boost at the last DECA. It is also a very social event - rarely was there a car on the pad without a passenger and there was tons of interaction between runs. I can't imagne a better event for the club.

I get a tour on Saturday morning. Benefits of having a wife that works at the US counsulate. Will take pics if I can.

I'm happy to have someone ride down with me, but I'm headed down Thursday as I'm headed to Winton of Friday for a track day. Several of us will be getting a cabin starting Thursday night. For a seriously long drive its actually a pretty good time.

I run Nismo S-Tune pads. No fade, stop well in the cold on the street. Think UAS has them in stock.

I does but you will have rego, drivers meeting, etc. My guess is you won't be on the track before 8:30 at best. Getting there earlier just get you a better garage.

I know when we judged you for R32 GTST we didn't take that fact into consideration.

Yea - atessa controler in this weekend. Maybe a clutch before deca or just lower RPM launches. Can't wait to go back and run with the Mexicans. So what kind of creative names do you suppose they will come up with for the events this time?
