  1. 'bout time you fixed your oversteer problems....
  2. Hey Guys, If you are entering you need to be there probably by 9AM or so to get registered and parked. Judging starts at 10. Lots of good prizes (not just for the "winners") so you should consider entering if. Tim
  3. Guys - my comment was completely sincere....and what do I get - a panda driving a WRX?

looking forward to spending some quality time with our amigos south of the border..... See you at DECA
  5. Hey, you're going to drive there anyway and you might as well have 2 days of fun between those long drives as one. The only negative about the trip last time was spending two day on the road for only one day there. Be great if we can get several of us down early. Steve-O, when you start doing the cabin thing can we make arrangements for one on Thrusday night then?
  6. You get to drive it before she rips them off, right????
  7. So it sounds like a few of us (Steveo/Sam/me) might make it down to Winton for a track day on Friday. I'm up for a very early departure (5AM?) to beat traffic. Like to get there and chill for a bit. Scotsman - it there a place to crash near Winton on Thursday night or should we book into the cabins a night early? For those of you who are new - this F'N rocks. It don't get much funner. Of course we will have to start dominating the Mexicans... NSW TFW
  8. I have the week before off so Winton is an option. Would rather not drive down alone so assuming I can get at least a passenger I think I'd like to get down a day early and learn the track secrets of the Vic boys. If they get me running faster maybe I'll defect to Team Wang I know this is still some time off but I vote for a very, very early morning start. If some of the guy/gals from north need a place to crash the night before, we have space.
  9. Definately I'm want in.......
  10. Go take a look at the SydneyKid group buy. I have replaced the subframe, camber and castor and the impact was signficant. Car is much tighter and handles much better.
  11. Sorry, I'm out - mates B=day party
  12. If someone is looking for coilovers that aren't bone jarring these would be a good choice http://translate.google.com/translate?u=ht...Flanguage_tools Normal form attenuation power 5 step adjustment system (Fr and Rr) only front reservoir tank attaching height change generation: FR-30mm RR-20mm spring rate: FR6.0 RR6.7 (kgf/mm) These spring rates are much softer than many of the coilovers out there but stiffer than stock by a margin. Also, if they came from nismo you can expect they are a good tuned match for the car. Do you know how many K these have on them?
  13. Been running Nismo S tune pads. Great pad - stop great cold on tha street and don't fade on the track.
  14. Last track day at wakefield I attended they had helmets to rent.
  15. Have a set of them on and have about 3 months and a couple track days on them. No complaints - love em.
  16. Dan, I'm really sorry to hear this. Hope you can find who did it. There are unfortunately too many a$$holes in the world Tim
  17. What bullet32 said happened is also what the other Federal people said when I called and sent pictures. Federal was very professional and treated me very well. I struggle with the idea that a tyre would self destruct so badly if you got a flat and pulled off the road as soon as it became apparent, but I also have a limted experience with low profile tyres. If so, well thats life... I would say I thought these were, especially for the money, great tyres. I'll buy another one to replace this one and keep running them on the street. Moving down the path of getting semi's for the track.
  18. The designers of luxury perfromance cars like the Bentley GT, etc. have a different objective than the designer of a lower costs performance car like a Skyline. When you spend Bentley money you expect it to perfrom but also to be effortless and smooth. Things like road feel are not part of the equation. It might feel like it handles better but put it on a track and you will see it isn't.
  19. Yes - I can't imagine this is normal.
  20. They have always been run at manu recommended pressure though when they warmed up on the track perhaps I should have lets some out. Never been run low. They have about 3000K street usage, DECA, and one day on the track. Almost look like a retread that didn't bond. Happened pretty much in 10 seconds driving home after about a hour on the road.
  21. After a day at Wakefield, on the motorway home, this is what happened. Only one went but I'm obvioulsy not confident in the other three. Lesson learned
  22. I'm running Nismo S-Tune pads. Great on the street and the track. No issues stopping cold.
  23. Wow - what a nightmare.... Thats the reason my car is stock as on the outside and i'm running a very quiet exhaust.
  24. Sorry - found another thread with the answer http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...164892&st=0
  25. Does Ohlin make Nismo's coilovers?
