  1. Thanks, Usually these distributors are tight lipped when you did not buy off them ..
  2. OMG! This sounds bad .. but only seems to apply to the TS2? Also I found this document: http://www.osgiken.net/upload/d43.pdf It says I should use the release bearing supplied. So (hopefully) no sweat?
  3. Hello, I bought the STR2CD (used) and according to the (Japanese) manual the sleeve bearing is supposed to be 14mm and 30501-N1604. There is an English translation of that manual but it is lacking this bit of information found in the Japanese manual. http://www.osgiken.net/upload/d42.pdf So did the 14mm bearing solve the issue or is there anything else I should be aware off? Thanks
  4. Well, I tightened the braces rear and front to eliminate the dead zone. By tightening I mean not insane amounts of force but merely about an eights to a quarter turn. When you 'stretch' as opposed to tighten the braces slightly flex, that's why I tightened them.
  5. Yes, Flywheel to crank. Are you serious about bolts sheering off? Thanks ...
  6. Hello, I'm about to install an STR (that's the twin) on my RB25. (got a used kit) The clutch comes with a flywheel which is (possibly?) thinner. Would anybody know if I can re-use the OEM flywheel bolts? Thanks ..
  7. I think this was re-moved due to not fully working. (See the link I posted where a tuner asked about this) It's not set in the base-image but in the so called Address-Files (new with each SW version). For the Z32 ECU (which I have) it is available.
  8. I would not be so sure about this. This depends on the ECU being used. There is not just one Nistune ECU and they all have different features depending on the hardware. I have the Z32 ECU (Type 2) and there it seems to be working but on R34 (Neo / Type 4) I would not know. From what the tuner said it seems he knows what he is talking about... Best is to ask Nistune for a 2nd opinion http://forum.nistune...+recover#p16761
  9. Thanks, That clarifies it ..
  10. I need a clutch!

  11. Thanks, Must be the seller then who's wrong. As far a know the middle exhaust section of GTST/GTT are similar in shape but the R34 one is shorter (to accommodate the longer CAT I suppose)
  12. R33GTST -> I'm wondering if and in what direction a pre-load should/can be applied to a rear strut brace? The brace must be adjustable for a reason. I'm not talking about inches but just put the brace under minimal tension so there is no 'slack' Thanks ..
  13. Hello, Is the de-cat-pipe between these two interchangeable? I was always under the impression that the R34 CAT is different to the R33 CAT but I recently saw some adds for a pipe claiming it fits both cars? Thanks ..
  14. Thanks, I only have 370HP at the engine and might get to 280-300KW at the rear once the clutch holds and the car can be tuned fully. So I just wanted a clutch that is up to it with a bit of margin. That's why my initial question was about the ORC409. (on which I could find no real data)
  15. Thanks, Neither Skylinowners nor GTR has any results on NPC CLUTCH. NPC seems to be a very local OZ business. If all fail there is always OS GIKEN .
  16. Thanks, Not much information on their site to be honest. Also I am based in the UK. Will give them a ring to find out what they can do for me.
  17. Thanks (I guess), just need to know what NPC stands for
  18. Sorry for the Hi-Jack. Does this mean the R34GTT Gearbox does not bolt onto the R25DET?
  19. Hi there, I need to buy a new clutch since the old one is slipping. I heard the OCR is 'only' good for about 420NM which is the amount of torque my engine currently produces (without being fully tuned) If I got this fact right, the clutch would not be a future proof investment. Has anybody experience with these clutches (I mean power-wise?) Cheers!
  20. Hmmm .. thanks, But it looks as if your piping is different? #As for the throttle side I had no issues sourcing a joiner. (I can look up what I used if you want ...)
  21. Hello there, Thanks for the answers. Yes, I tried stretching the 2.5'' I have but the joiner won't give in that much. (which speaks for the quality of the part) 2.75'' seems to be the closest to the OD of the intercooler side then. (still it sounds a bit wide ..)
  22. I would like to change the pipe joiner in the picture with a silicone part. Would anyone know the correct diameters? I have a rough estimate of 67mm -> 62mm but can not find any straight reducers that size. Any ideas who is selling these? Cheers ..
  23. Yep, I agree a 100%, cannons will always be on the louder side. (especially when they are 3.5'' in diameter) As for the CAT if I could find one with a 3'' flange that would be great. The standard CAT is just 60mm (3''=76.2mm)
