  1. Bahahaha your weekend post made me loooooool. Nice one dude that's awesome. I'm on a pure weight loss aim at the moment as well. I've found eating protein rich foods keep me fuller for longer, I try not to eat carb heavy after lunch and eliminated starchy foods like potato/corn etc, also have just reduced meal sizes in general. Have lost 7kg's since Jan with barely any exercise so you should do nicely!
  2. Yeah but you can drive twice as fast. That cancels out the extra cost right? If we cared about fuel prices this would be a Prius forum :3
  3. I would recommend never visiting the UK or Europe then - too depressing. For my car I could do direct swapsies with an 07 Vantage, so cheap! So unfair
  4. Quick update, just got back from a month overseas and have dropped 2Kgs back to my normal 62, now anything more is a bonus. Was pretty chuffed when I stepped on the scales. Am keen to see what 58 feels like, if I don't make an effort it might take 6-9 months, if I do maybe 3 months... Appetite fluctuates so will see. Still not exercising, currently checking blood sugar levels to see if I have diabetes. This build is going to take foreveeerrrrrrrr.
  5. Haha oh, yeah I grew up with no tv and don't really watch it now so no clue on sports lol
  6. .... I'm confused, was that a stab?
  7. Hey gais, long time. Got back from o/s last night, was hectic, will post some pics soon. All this and to add, in race suits they carry a bladder for water. The influence of this in a fashion sense would contribute to modeling road jackets the same way. Usually guys who are wearing them on an underpowered bike are just preparing for their upgrade A lot of stuff on a bike is mainly for looks, I think it looks good if you match it right. Congrats on the DRZ Leigh, looks like you were down my way! My friend had one and we used to got chasing rabbits in Westerfolds Park, rad fun
  8. Just had a crazy night at a club on the 31st floor of a building overlooking London. Now I know why all of my British hiphop artists talk about getting home when the sun rises. It's 4am right now in Spring and it's light! Weak! Eye mask, ear plugs: Equip!
  9. Nice sounds like a good group. The posts I saw were probably just the odd keyboard heroes, not the same as being out there in person. Haha, yeah I remember blocking roads, usually in St Kilda or some other built up place. I don't think people liked it to begin with but by the end of it they were so fascinated by the amount of bikes going through that it was worth the inconvenience Interesting about the crash report, or lack of. When we rode we had them occasionally, but only during the main rides when someone inexperienced hit gravel or some object that shouldn't have been on the road. Once the smaller group was out going nuts I supposed we were all experienced enough to know how to handle that sort of situation. It started off Thursday night rides, then they added Tuesday Learner rides (no over taking etc), then Wednesday night fast ride lol. Sad it's not on anymore (best to my knowledge, last time I went there were 20 peeps and no one would lead so I did, seemed to have gone down the drain), the learner rides would have been perfect for you guys to meet peeps and get a feel of your bikes in different circumstances. Just take every piece of advice with a pinch of salt. 90% of it is crap, makes me nervous >.>
  10. Are you part of this group too? My gf added me ages ago last year and I stopped taking notice as most of the comments and suggestions seemed uninformed, to put it delicately. How is it when you are actually out on the ride? What are the people like? When the Thursday night rides were on years ago we used to get in excess of one hundred people, would ride from 7.30-10.30, have a bite to eat then a fration of us would do an after ride sometimes until 5am. It is most likely a different thing but those days were pretty good while they lasted *nostalgia* Last ride I did was with my mates store, Motoheaven, up to Hotham. It was rad. Will get back into it as soon as I get home.
  11. Interesting Troy! I may check with my GP when they first prescribed it to me because I think it was around that time... Unless I'm judging a year different which happens. Thanks! GTST, I pick and pack books in a warehouse. Pay's awesome and is casual so I can take off time to ride whenever I want
  12. Thanks man, it's good to see a difference when you look in the mirror. Will probably post some more pics soon as am halfway. Only on the pill which I actually started taking when I wasn't seeing anyone for the sake of levelling my moods and improving my skin. It seemed to work a little on the moods, but still not enough.
  13. 4 more Kg's to lose then I will decide where I want to be and put some back on if I need. Also in other news. Looks as though CFS may not be the only thing causing my issues. Could be something hormonal which may have been mentioned before but have only been able to rule out CFS for everything since I have now been on supplements for a while and haven't fully improved. Will get more blood tests to check fatigue levels (iron etc) and have an appointment with an exercise specialist in a couple of weeks. Will report back if anything interesting is found!
  14. It's been a while! In a nut shell: Was going well with exercise routine and 'kicking goals' although it was gradually tiring me out. Started job which meant I had to cease exercise as fatigue was massive, cannot do both, only one or the other. Fortunately at my work I walk 15-25km a day about 3-4 days a week so I am still getting a bit off exercise. A few weeks ago my horse fell on me and almost crushed my pelvis. Fortunately it only came to 'almost' and also did not trample me but I was out of action for two weeks. Have since been back at work for a couple of weeks. Due to the fact I have been unable to exercise I decided to move my focus to my diet. I tried Light and Easy for a week which I must say was very effective mentally although a little costly so I have taken its structure and developed my own at a lower cost. I've been logging it since January and it has been quite consistent and feels as if I'm not changing anything which is a bonus. I'm just concentrating on ordering entrées instead of mains, not snacking so much, filling my day with activities instead of eating because I'm bored, and trying like crazy not to finish the plate if I'm not hungry. Hard habit to break! Here's the chart from Jan 12th :
  15. Rimon, you could have wet some of the electrics, should start again once it's dried out. Try to avoid too much hosing from above the base of the fuel tank.
  16. Really? All the bikes I've bought and sold have passed first time, whether they need to be slightly modified on the spot or not. Being road worthy isn't a huge feat on motorbikes and since this is a young bike I would recommend being prepared so you don't risk paying labour for them to do the job for you or prolonging the time the bike needs to be in the shop.
  17. Basically the way rwc's work now is they need to be photographed, so it's got to look road worthy. It's possible that some stores could be harsher about it but in regards to the pipe, my friend who owns a store and does rwc's said if it has a baffle they can generally say it meets the sound restriction so they don't need to change it over. Tinted screen is technically not road worthy so that may need to be changed. Not sure on the fender, if it can look like it's attached in a photo then it should be fine but it will depend on the store. If you end up needing to buy a new windscreen I would recommend Screens For Bikes. Probably will cost less than an oem at least
  18. Probably just head into Werribee Motorcycles or somewhere local. Rwc's are the same everywhere you go but as for good service and prices for the future I'm not quite sure about that side of town.
  19. Agreed! It certainly suits this bike, nice purchase Rimon! Where abouts are you located?
  20. Can't wait for those mad skills
  21. Yah grip the tanks with your legs... I just mean don't get too homo with the tank. You can still grip the tank comfortably if you're halfway back on the seat and it tends to keep your upper body at a better distance from the handle bars with your core strength supporting your upper body rather than your arms. It's harder than just leaning on the tank and your wrists so of course you're probably not going to want to bother, but it's the correct technique, is good to get into the habit of and in the end with give you a safer faster surer ride
  22. Just... Try not to ride the tank, sit halfway back on the seat. This way you are better positioned for anything control related, it also looks better.
  23. Congrats guys that's awesome Hopefully get a few more nice days before winter sets in
  24. Majority of these were Aus. Such a tempting car >.<
  25. I was looking at them late last year and they were that price?
