  3. bahahaha Flynn delivers
  4. Sillier things have been done
  5. How tall are you again? My friend Glenn is one inch shorter than Birds and seems to be doing just fine:
  6. My requirements for this bike are: 1. Cannot being converted into a track bike, aka not full faired 2. Pops many wheelies, hence 1098 cc and S edition :3 The only Harley I would ever ride/buy is this one: 'Hey! Fatboy!' (In Lucy Liu Payback voice) Unfortunately I think mono's could only be done with great difficulty, and it does kind of cost $65k
  7. Just booked in a test ride on this for Friday: A little bit excited, they have a demo for sale in my size and colour I hope it rides like I want it to!
  8. 3. Because they fit easily in motorcycle boots And they are comfortable
  9. Really Birds.. you walked straight into that one *shakes head* DFO bitches. $10 jeans ooh rah!
  10. leggings... ew.
  11. Nah not me, only part that matches it the hair colour. My bike is set up to track only at the moment but will have a roady soon! lol, 'sif waste money on clothes. $10 is the most I will spend on pants. More important is dressing my motorcycle.
  12. Tommy Hafey swims in the bay 365 days a year. No shit he told me. Champion. The Harold Holt pool has an awesome 50m outdoor pool which in the winter is awesome and spooky, love going late at night when the condensation is rising and you get out and it's freezing cold. Usually just swim 1km breaststroke but not so much of that in my routine at the moment.
  13. Not anymore! lol
  14. In 2002 melanomas and other skin cancers caused 0.12% of deaths in the US. That's number 75 down the most-common-way-to-die list. Check your family history and your skin with a GP and calculate the risk then decide yourself whether it's worth it Definitely tan with sunscreen on, I always use 30SPF and am well brown. There's nothing cool about being a crab person who turns into a Holstein cow.
  15. Usually that's all people care about on their restrictions
  16. huh, my bad you are correct. I generally slump anything Asian that's not Japanese into Korea. I was aware the company was different though but generally go by where they're made. British bike 'Designed in Europe' Made in Taiwan
  17. Lovely! I must say, the rims do it for me. It baffles me why people don't wear LMGT-4's more often.
  18. Korean bike, not the best quality but have come a long way and look awesome, especially for the dollars. Would be perfectly suitable for a bike on your restrictions, probably what I would get if I did it again. Don't sound half bad either.
  19. Srsly dude, the license test isn't hard... if anything the longer you leave it the more bothersome and costly the process will become, recently there have been articles on how the tests aren't strict enough etc. Plus it's not as if you need to buy a bike straight away. Just get your license to begin with!
  20. Well, trail you can do both, MotoX you obviously can't take out in the bush. In the end it's how you ride it that will make the difference on the track but I found the one time I went out to Neerim South for a day with my mates was far more awesome than doing circles in a race track, although that would have been fun too. I think it taught me more as well. Any dirt riding definitely compliments the road riding, although you do get a few more scratches/bruises/concussions Ride soon!!! When I sell my ute I'll be getting another road bike for commuting so there should be a few of us to catch up
  21. -_- That's why I was referring to the Suzuki and not the R1 with that particular change, I agree that chrome would not match the R1, which is why I said rim tape. You wouldn't bother colouring the rim on something that's not a show bike because in all likeliness your rims are going to be scratched up by the mechanic at the shop next time the tyres are changed. This obviously doesn't matter with polished rims because there's nothing to scratch off but painting something is just going to mean you either need to not ride the thing, change the tyres yourself or be prepared for a redo every time you change the rubber.
  22. Selling my dirt bike: http://www.bikesales.com.au/all-bikes/private/details.aspx?Cr=7&PriceTo=1603&R=11978451&PriceFrom=752&__sid=134D2EE2EA75&__Ns=p_IsPoa_Int32|0||p_RankSort_Int32|1||p_HasPhotos_Int32|1||p_Make_String|0||p_Model_String|0||p_YearMade_Int32|1||p_PriceSort_Decimal|1||p_PhotoCount_Int32|1&__Qpb=1&__Nne=15&seot=1&__N=1432%20604%201430%201429%201626%201428%204294967259%204294961383%20752%201603%2082&silo=1400&trecs=10 ^^This bike (which is the same as the one in my avatar and funnily enough owned by the original modifier or Aarons S14) as you can see has the rims half polished, red rim tape on the seam and white around the rim. Very effective, matches the bike colour scheme perfectly and was cheaper than getting them fully polished. For the R1 I wouldn't bother with the whole lip but rim tape would have the same effect for a small cost. Nothing better than a personalised colour scheme that's still in the original colours.
  23. Thanks Terry for your help Only just started exercising again, for the last month and a bit while not exercising it was high protein and vegies, low fat/sugar/carbs. Now that I'm back exercising my plan is 3 running a week, 2 gym. Last night I went for a run, did 2.64 km in 15:30 minutes. The start was at a normal run but my heart rate reached 175 in five minutes and to keep it from topping that (I didn't want to go over as I believe around 165-170 is the max of my exercise 'zone') I had to jog almost at a walking pace at times. After there was no endorphin high, just mental exhaustion. Does that kind of heart rate increase seem steep? It took me ten minutes of walking to get it back to 145.
