Actually I've been to quite a few places in Europe, I stayed in Italy for 4 months. But don't you think that weather would have an influence on visibility? That's all I was saying, maybe it's not your point, it was just a comment.

It's all day, they only do cars on this one. I think I remember someone there wearing a dirt helmet, but maybe give them a ring. Will check out helmet prices and post up some stuff, have do wait for business hours unfortunately

Hey guys, it's on again!!! All you need is a helmet, $30 and a reasonably roadworthy car!! (if you need info on helmets pm me.) Last time I went I had a blast, would recommend it for everyone. Drifting's not allowed but I was sideways most of the day anyway. Might organise a cruise if there is enough interest but it's a 2 1/2 hour drive so Ryan and I are thinking of staying somewhere closer for the night. Hope to see some SAUers on the track! c

GOOD!!!! I'm so relieved, haha, That means you've seen us!!!! I ride with my high beams on, if it pissed you off at least you know we're there. When I drive around motorbikes even I find it easy to miss them and I look out for them! With only one light on a bike or one high beam which is smaller than most car lights it doesn't pose any danger to car drivers but provides a little extra safety, even more in the day time. And yeah, on a bike if there are bright lights ahead of you it's hard because you can only cover your eyes with your hand, taking one had of the bars which can become a hazard. At night our lights move with the bike which makes turning corners even more difficult. Put these to together and you have a problem

I think it's usage is pretty much in the name! It doesn't actually look that cool to have them on, being blinded isn't fun imo.

Ok... I thought this might be hard to describe. If I'm sitting at a round about turning left and it has 2 lanes heading each way perpendicular in front of me, I can go even if there is someone coming from my RHS as long as they are in the inside lane and I stay in the left lane. They are two seperate lanes, obviously being careful and making sure they're not going to change lanes (which would technically be illegal without indicating creating a grey area) is a smart thing to do since people don't usualy respect lanes in round abouts. But most drivers think that they have to wait for the inside lane as well which means that traffic sits for about an hour at every damn round about in heavy traffic. The massive round about at Greensborough bypass is a good example.

Yeah true, but I think that if they change lanes while in a round about they still have to indicate... so if they don't then it's even more grey meh, they're not going to learn how to drive any time soon so I just treat other drivers like they're all idiots.

Also, does anyone in this city know how to drive a round about?! Seriously, there are two lanes.. so you can enter it if there is another car already in a round about with 2 lanes as long as they are not in your lane. Jeez it can get annoying when you're waiting 5 minutes to get to a round about because of the que. Can we make this the 'Traffic Rant Thread'?

You can but you need a few people to do so, and a location. With the amount of people that dropped out before this one I don't think it's reliable enough to get a group booking unfortunately (unless we get a heap of people). HEKT1K: Was that you!!??? You know what GD2ILA? Everyday I ask myself "Why are there so many f$%@ heads?!" A lot of the time it has to do with merging. I cannot think any further to find a reason why they would act that way. It baffles me. I have no better conclusion. Peace.

Hey guys, thank you for coming!!!! My sister and I ended up arriving at about 6.30, our apps were at 7. I only got out at 8.45! Usually they are better than that but they were running really late. I'm thinking next time meet up before hand as well somewhere else so that we are all together. It's hard though if you don't book far enough in advance because then no apps are available at the same time. Was good fun having dinner at the cafe with Niroj and Jamie. I have booked in another appointment for plasma on Wednesday July 7th at 6pm. Anyone is welcome to join of course I'm really touched that you guys made it, you are all very awesome. Respect
