  1. Kamikaze, Basti: You both just confirmed my point exactly I might also add that modifying can make a massive change in reliability as well
  2. lol, sounds like Skylines have a pretty bad reputation! I thought Nissan made reliable cars??
  3. Like this? This thing would EAT a cafe
  4. I suspected someone would say that. I said on the clock. It would have definitely have been wound back, as we can assume that most imports are. The reason why I used this measurement is because it's relative. If you know how to read a motor then you will be able to work out the approximate k's without looking at the clock. Sucks about the gear box though, fortunately I haven't had any problems with mine yet.
  5. oh, and check out the apple peel meet get a mate to drive you, there's plenty of GTRs that frequent
  6. Get whatever you want! Just make sure if you get one of the older ones you have the $$$ to maintain it... not that people really want to prepare for that when they are thinking of getting a GTR. But I love my R34 because there's 50 thou k's on the clock and I know it's never going to do anything unexpected.
  7. ^ I don't think the damage on your bumper is confidence inspiring ps. Just receive my parking ticket from Kinglake in the mail. $23. All that lecturing and payroll of a cop and admin and postage for $23. Now I know where our taxes go!
  8. Girls only, sorry!
  9. Will be busy meeting up with a bunch of ladies with imports that night Too bad!

Spotted TVZ*** (White R33 with rims and SAU stickers) just a few minutes ago at the Safeway in Eltham! I was in the Hilux so you wouldn't have seen me, but you were gone when I came out and I was only in there for a second we probably walked past each other

Spotted an R33 on Wellington Parade tonight in East Melbourne. Was black/close to, with the 'Skyline' letters done in red. Matched the tail lights perfectly, looked neat!
  13. Awesome, ok roll is as follows: 5.05 - twins +1 5.45 - HEKT1K 6.05 - Adzmax 6.15 - Basti 6.45 - Trent (Motorbikes) 6.45 - Ant (Motorbikes) 7.00 - Me +1 Let me know if I've left you off! And a couple more to confirm. Since this is going to span out over a couple of hours, we can organise on the night for a group to head to food if it gets too boring

  16. ROFL... he did better than I do when I actually try! So when's the next one
  17. a group of us are going to be at garage cafe on wednesday night, you should join!
  18. Plus a newer non turbo will probably be less thrashed and less modded, so it will be far more reliable if you are looking for something cheap to buy as well as cheap to run, which at that price range it looks as though you are. Plenty of power anyway and I think that when you get off your p's and want to upgrade to a turbo the depreciation will also be less on a non turbo 33. I know a lot of it is about turbo rep but really, they look hawt whether they are turbo or not, you can't really tell!

Spotted a grey R32 in the Apple Peel car wash at about 8.45 tonight
  24. Aw man... that sucks massive time. Will keep a look out and hope it shows up soon. Grrrrr who ever did it will pay.
  25. Interesting... Arent we currently talking in the 140kmph thread about how most drivers are under educated? By saying 'I only had this much practice and I passed' probably just makes people find it ok to practice less because other people have and have gotten away with it. This is most likely the mentality that increases collisions caused by inexperience. Not that I'm saying a person like that would be a bad driver, I only had four classes (min avail at the time) and passed fine, but I'd been driving paddock bombs for about 10 years before that I also recommend getting your car in someones paddock and just let rip... it always helps me remind myself of how a car reacts when you loose traction, and that's something they can't teach. Plus grass can be nice and slippery
