  1. Haha, way too much time on your hands mango Different springs with different ratings are a dime a dozen, SOO... If I wish to do so....I will... just change them Personaly preference BRO and 6kg springs, too high for a track car? Specify what TYPE of track car? As I said, coming from a drift background, I along with hundreds of other people, have used much HIGHER then 6kg springs. People have used up and more then 22kg springs, grant it the strut towers needed to be seam welded when go higher. The law DOES permit the Falcrum Tiens in QLD as they are re-sleeved to OZ spec/standards. This has been fun, peace to you BRO
  2. Bilstein are abit overly priced for what I want/need. Its not a circit runner, and far from some form European sports car. So I'll leave the Bilsteins to track runners and time attack cars. Coming from a drift background I love the harsh feel of the road and coilovers soften up once their worn it. and If I didnt like it I could release the preload abit and Wa-la... all better:) Chur
  3. The Tiens Im' looking at are the top model for Stagea's in the Tien range and have a 6/6kg spring rate. All adjustble etc etc... and just a note, I will be towing a car trailer with this car. Chur mang, does sound tempting, but as it would be, the law doesnt permit me to do so I have seen people use blocks of timber they have cut up to fit with in their springs... *shakes head* Also, was looking at Pedders or something similar all round, with those "air bags" that fit captured with in the rear springs to give a better "tow ride". But thought about it, coilovers on Aussie roads would need to be replaced/re-sleaved every 2x years. So Im choosing this path. Cheers
  4. Hey, I was after a stiff ride, as in unbelievably STIFF ride, and was wondering if the Bilsteins would be able to acheive this?
  5. I NEEDED to know about thread ALONG time ago Since then, Ive tried 2x R32 GTR Speedo drives and snapped both. I attemped to make these 'custom' drives, but wasnt informed about the offset of the 'spacer' that holds it in. So 3x custom drives later, I gave up. I had problems with the shafts breaking, the gears turning but slipping on the shafts, The last 2x broke on Queensland Race way and decided to go walk about the gear box...:S Got lucky, the gears are made of a stronger compound then the speedo shaft. =D And yes, take the part number to Nissan and they will give you a navara speedo assembly. Was about $36 off the top of my head. Well on that note, I might make another call to Nissan and attempt this again... Just sad that the 'red' RB25 speedo gear alone is $70 from Nissan.
  6. So I found some Tiens from J-land... Tien GT Wagon Series. They sound good. Just wondering if anyone has used these before? Cheers
  7. Hey everyone, Im in the market for coilovers for my Series II Stagea. Im not a fan of the "Falcrum modified Tiens". So I was wondering any reccomendations on brands, makes, models etc... And where to get them??? I was snooping around Nengun.com earlier, found a few models of Jap spec Tiens, they look and sound very good, just was hoping to find something a little more, local and cheaper. The Tiens from J-land work out about $2,200 ish... Im located in QLD, but suppose postage wouldnt be a problem Let me know what you got... Cheers
  8. Hey, Its Aerron (Drift Asylum from Secretdrift.com) Just confirming that you still have that clock? As Im' heading up to the Sunny Coast tomorrow and was hoping to pick it up on Friday, Also, do you still have the GTT wheels? if so, how much? Cheers
  9. Yes, you can "adjust" the offset as it is a 3x piece rim, BUT... you must find the correct/same centers for the swap to be done. The holes in the centers that hold the 3x pieces together, have a designed PCD, so that of which you wish to replace it with must also have the same ammount, size and PCD as the original one. Or if you wished to have more dish and to change the over all width the same process must be done... by changing the stainless band... answer your question?
