  1. Hello people, need to find a standard, unmodified ECU for my R, anyone who has one can pm me, or contact me on 0410585627. Thank you
  2. you need a press and pressing tools to replace the bearing, plus the hub assembly needs to be completely removed to do so, so it's not really a DIY
  3. that's true, the radiator sits lower than the head, which makes them hard to bleed properly, and causes them to overheat. but the cheaper materials used also made the head crack instead of just blowing the gasket
  4. your only getting boost when the gauge starts going above 0 into the positive area, sounds normal to me. try new plugs, fuel filter, clean out you throttle and AFM and swap your O2 sensor, should get you out of trouble
  5. yes, but it's something that may have been overlooked when the engine was rebuilt....
  6. sounds like a head gasket to me. Also, I'm assuming the motor was originally from a VL, Holden in all there wisdom decided to get the heads for that motor made from there own supplier because it was "cheaper", and it was, in every sense of the word, hence VL's had a problem with the heads cracking when the engine was over heated
  7. have you still got the Radiator?????? How much to ship to Sydney
  8. that sounds about right, 12v 55w H1, be careful, if you put a too higher wattage globe in there they can melt the sockets
  9. i get most of my parts from Nissan too, i genially find there cheaper than the aftermarket stuff. if your locale dealer won't help you, just go to another, I'm shore there's more than one in your area.....
  10. got the rest of my stuff today fitted it all this afternoon but haven't had a chance to go for a decent drive yet, feels good so far can't wait till this weekend
  11. which market was this meant for?? different markets get different cars, in the UK rego cost is based on engine capacity ie; bigger engine, more money you pay so something like the standard WRX may not be a big seller in the UK so there sticking to smaller engines for the low end of the market, and STI's for the top end. i do know that Subaru are going to totally redesign the Impresa but have not herd of anything about dropping the WRX, think of all the sails they'll louse, it's one the biggest sellers.
  12. i just sold my Hyosung gt650, as I'll be getting my full licence at the end of the month. i was much happier paying $6000 for a 2 year old bike then the same for one that is 10-15 years old, you can bye them with a restrictor fitted to make them Lerner legal, and if you want to keep it after you get your full licence you can just have the restriction removed. i never had had a problem with mine, was countable to ride, looked and sounded grate, and you didn't have to rev to 15000rpm to get it to move anywhere. if you go to there web site or just Google it, there's heaps of info out there. ps; a big loud bike gets more attention, which makes it a lot easier for other motorists to see you
  13. a friend of mine had Boston Acoustics in his car, really clear sound at any volume. i didn't think Bang and Olufsen made anything for cars......... it's a little over priced if you ask me anyway. i have Philips in my car, they sound grate and I've never had a problem with them, been about 4 years now. i think the green ones are called Fusion #1 Boston Acoustics, they cost a little, but well worth it #2 Philips
  14. i was wondering if you still had the driver side a pillar trim driver side inner door handle trim driver side window switch trim driver side window gusset trim if you do, could you let me know how much you want for them thanks mate
