  1. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to freight the big items. Someone make me an offer on parts, the cars finished and the parts need a new home
  2. Buy something thats had as much replaced as possible
  3. Waste of time with modern turbos
  4. As per my advice I run the .81 garrett version
  5. You can buy mine for less, with more horsepower
  6. Sorry I'm a little confused. What is mini jam? Why did you attach that picture? Why is this in the Canberra section? Cheers
  7. As far as I know, they're actually no stronger than a R33 GTR box. With the torque of the RB30, I certainly wouldn't consider one. I'd be looking at straight cut gearsets.
  8. Too easy - where the charcol caninster should go is plenty of space. You can't run standard AFMS - well you can but the resolution is nowhere near high enough to support anything more than ~280rwkw. You'll need to fabricate intake piping as well unless you get your hands on an off the shelf item such as the greddy (I belive designed to fit 80mm AFMs ie Z32s)
  9. Put a LS2 in it. Why? Because you can't form your own opinion maybe? I think its fairly evident that the RB25DET would be the easier, tried/tested option.
  10. No offense - but thats a load of bollocks. Anyhow - Typhoon and GTR are two very different cars. I don't know why you'd bother comparing them.
  11. Arias
  12. I was more referring to anyone wishing to put screamer pipes on stock turbos. Go the real deal and put a high mount with the lot on it! I've never really heard mine from the outside so I can't comment on how it sounds. From video/in car it sounds kinda loud, like a typical big single GTRs you see in vids racing at tsukuba.
  13. Don't do it. Mine has one but more to the fact it has a single turbo etc.
  14. Hell yeah B)
  15. Wow coming from a guy who is "too lazy" to dyno his car I find it amazing that you actually took it to the track to test out your 60 foot times! What ET/MPH did you pull? Or did u have one of those 60 foot testers Ive seen on ebay??
  16. Phil shoot me a line if you want some advice with it as I've been through it all before
  17. Thats like saying a SL65 is only a lowly merc Tommy I know of a couple of modified E55s going around that'd give most GTR owners a scare!! Like Brett said you will need to be careful - its almost impossible not to drive an automatic merc fast
  18. Put it on a dyno first to make sure it running right before you race.
  19. I love this song
  20. Comp/leakdown test first
  21. Its a worry Nic but I don't know enough about it to form a strong enough opinion. I've read a rather negative article recently which outlined the basic economic theory behind 'peak oil' and basically said that our modern society will crumble - oil wars will start - and those who can live as bare minimalists will survive.... Then again you hear two sides to every story - and alot of people supposedly in the know who are drilling and searching for oil say we have more than enough oil for the long term. I suppose ultimately we all (or our future generations) need to hope that someone is planning at a higher level for when we need to rely on resources other that oil....
  22. I got about 17-18l/100km road driving, T04Z RB26 etc
