  1. I'd say they'll still be around - can't include postage in that price as they weight quite a bit Forgot to mention the race pipe (suit R32 GTR but ive never fitted) straight through (3.5" from memory) no mufflers - $150 ono (pic is the one under the pool table!)

  6. Babylon, Your attitude as you describe is what is needed from everyone to make this country great. You should not be disheartened by the actions of a small minority - that being some of the louts at Sunday's meeting. Just the same that they should not be disheartened by the actions of a small minority of middle eastern population. What is increasingly evident is that the root of the problem should be dealt with by this countrys leaders. Right now I have no confidence in that being done. Like Matt said - their strategy right now is to stop the events occuring. But looking forward?
  7. Turbos died due to oil starvation I believe, they're in pieces so will need a rebuild unconditionally. The rotors - check the photos - they have some wear and will need machining (certainly the fronts will, rears I'd say should do as well).

  14. Are the intercooler pipes connected? Will not idle properly if they're not. Is the AFM connected? Couldnt' work it out from your post. If its not, it won't idle/run properly. I'd say in any case your plugs have been fouled.

  16. Contrary to the above opinion, Vspec and Vspec II are not invincible, but the market demands a premium for these versions, especially the Vspec II. It wouldn't be the sort of car I'd buy to modify, but rather enjoy it stock collectable form.
  17. BEL garage use a dynolog dyno, not a dynodynamics. These dynos usually read lower than dynodynamics due to different software etc.
  18. I think your tuner liked my turbo I'd expect on a stock RB25 it wouldn't make full mumbo till at least 5k-5500rpm. Set of cams and cam timing may help to bring it up a bit quicker. Mine made 1 bar 4000-4500rpm on a built 26.
  19. Theres nothing to stop you from doing the conversion in a day, if you've got all the nessicary parts, labour, and knowledge. All comes down to good planning... In terms of weight I'd imagine a RB26 would be marginally heavier than a RB25, due to the extra turbo and associated bits hanging off the side.

  23. A T04Z is too big (overkill) for 270-300rwkw. I'd look along the lines of a GT3040 or similar, plenty of guys on the forums with setups using that turbo in your desired power range. I also wouldn't push it any harder than that - as the bottom end is only limited in that sort of power application.
  24. I broke a gearbox ~5 days after having my car back on road with a base tune (440rwhp) - but the box was in fairly poor condition to start. I'd suggest if you're at the point of being serious about track/strip performance you'd want an aftermarket gearset, straight cut or otherwise. Diffs have been ok so far as with shafts, but I don't exactly give it a hard time
