    Only thing I'd be worried about is the lack of midrange versus top end. Still pulling at 8k pretty hard there.

    My oil is like Roys, and it really dosen't take long to get to that stage. I change at very regular intervals 2000-3000km. Compression or leakdown will confirm if its a problem with blowby. You might also want to throw it on a dyno and have a look at your AFRs.

    Personally I couldn't near justify the cost of going with a stroker. You will find you get to a level of horsepower (especially with a street car) in which you've lost alot of the liveable aspects of the car - and many standard parts will fail under the extra stress. Can still make solid horsepower on the standard crank, enough to get to that level. My theory at least

    Good power for the stockers, mine made 253rwkw @ 1 bar about eleven years ago so you're well ahead of that.

    I'll echo the comments below, especially if its an early model GTR...

    It shouldn't do that unless you've got big HP. Could be a worn out transfer case/clutchs too

    600rwhp is achievable And I can't stress how much the gearbox will hold you back, my first lasted 3-4 days

    Yeah, thats me Makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside eh? In regards to my tune those who brought it up, I'll be having it QA'd back at BEL again shortly, to ensure that everything is in line. I've a feeling as blk180 said the exhaust was restricting it and now that I've changed that I've a feeling it does need to be tuned to suit. Congrats on a 11 TommyK good to hear....

    You don't have a vaccum leak by any chance do you? Once we put mine all together there was still a hole which needed to be plugged in the bottom of the plenum. Same symptoms.
