  9. If you can't confront something happening prior to buying it, it only gets harder if you do buy one and something does happen... don't ignore the words of the experienced
  10. Can provide with gearbox at extra cost... PM me if you're interested
  11. Crank collar sold pending delivery
  12. Best to do a search, but you'll find GT2540s are a little mistmatched for a stock(ish) motor, better off with GT2530s, GT-SS generally.
  13. I tried to buy a white or silver one.... all the white ones were dodgy coverup resprays... All the good silver ones went for huge coin.. then fell in love with a black one which went well over 1m yen... and ended up with green - go figure.
  14. If the sale falls through with Bart, let me know
  15. Hi all, I've got to move my RB26DETT which came in my car. I got approx 6000-7000km out of it since buying the car. By all indications the motor should have 120-130K on it (a serious estimate) based on car, odo, and condition of the motor. The motor had the standard oil pump fail on the drag strip just before the line, coasting through to a 12.5 @ 111mph on .7 / .8 bar. The motor was shut off immediately, but sustained some bearing damange (Scored not spun). The motor is currently sitting on the engine stand with the crank out (needs to be linished, but should be otherwise fine, would recommend microtest). The motor made 253rwkw @ 1 bar on the dyno, and compression tested at 160psi in all but cylinder number 5, which was 155psi. Basically on offer is the lot, complete head with coils, complete block with crank, rods, pistons, sump, inlet manifold with plenum etc, exhaust manifolds, standard turbos, dumps etc. The engine is missing alternator/powersteering/AC/starter motor/injectors/loom. As I have to post a price in this section, I'll say $3K ono and take it from there. YES, I will seperate parts - however please email me [email protected] so this dosent turn into an unmanagable post. Please feel free to ask me any questions. Also available: - JUN Crank collar (BRAND NEW) - $200 - Aftermarket Front pipes to suit twins (not sure on brand) - $200 - Standard RB26 AFMs $150 ono - APEXi power intake pod filters (practically brand new w/ brackets) - $250 ono - Standard ECU $200 Will update this post accordingly. Cheers Rick
  16. Haha. Classic. I got a R31 for my daily, and Mason it was up at the shops you parked just near it. Car sounds nice btw. I see your car up there on occasion. They're economical enough... drive maybe 300-350km a week and it will cost me about $35. Parts are cheap, manual, rwd, so a bit of fun as well!
  17. Ahh - but then add the cost of worn components and maintenance and then I think you'll find the bunky/shitter will be a winner - at least its the case for myself! PS Mason I didn't just see your R33 at Ermington shops did I ... ? (Going off your avatar)
  18. Don't buy a GTR if you're scared of spending money...
  19. I've got a set I no longer need, will post up a photo once I get back home after the weekend
  20. Short of pulling all the intake pipes off, you can't really look at the turbos properly Best bet is to throw it on the dyno and see what she makes - you'd be MAD if you didn't to make sure its not running lean. Alot of jap remaps are not well suited to our fuel. The BLITZ ECU is just replacement chip for the ECU basically.
  21. I must admit I was a little disapointed by the day, SC was better even. Was Good to see twoogle made it onto the track after a drama filled morning.. And good work on the PB Adrian!
