  1. I drive everywhere in 1st gear because im scared changing gears will smash the box
  2. The pics don't really do these justice, they look great in the flesh!
  3. Does FOT mean what I think it means? I also use the handbrake method...
  4. I guess you can build the motor to spool that T04Z now This topic has been covered numberous time if you do a search, basically once you take into account the parts, machining and assembly you will be looking in excess of $5K quite easy, to which degree depends on what parts you will be using. Even with a budget build with just new pistons, bearings, gaskets if you are to do it properly.
  5. I've a NISMO twin plate http://antilag.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3658
  6. On the other hand I can say if all the cars are running quick times then DYO can be a fair system... well, it'd have to be fairer than the guy with the quickest car winning every time - thats only a battle of the pocket and not drag racing.. in my opinion
  7. I don't like DYO. Consistency is the key yes but a bone stock automatic R32 GTS can run a 16.0 all day - is that what racing should all be about? Not to me
  8. Was a good event I reckon, look forward to the next one Some good times as well
  9. If you're looking at those brand parts I'd budget somewhere from $10-15K for the engine build depending on specification. Plus turbos/manifolds/fuel etc.
  10. Saw that - How'd that happen !! We need SAU powercruise.. no bias...
  11. Main reason I see for using the V configuration is weight distribution, and of course, to be different.
  12. Can you tune my car for me R31Nismoid
  13. The standard fuel pumps on a GTR run a 2 stage system where at idle they are running low voltage and are kept quiet, and higher voltage/pressure once they get going. For this reason I think you'll find that it'd be loud once youve put it in something else. We bridged my standard pump to run higher voltage all the time and it changed the noise from quiet to loud.
  14. Building or buying the RB24?
  15. Don't bother with a stock motor I wouldn't have thought it'd be cheap enough to consider when you add in the cost of the intake & intercooler piping, dump/front pipe, manifold, wastegate and labour involved - esp for a stock motor
  16. What suspension and what catback? Cheers
  17. Love your work good to see you're not wasting any time with this project
  18. JB Performance 9682 5642 Call them if you want a good build
  19. Before or after the engine rebuild?
  20. April foo surely?
  21. No point in upgrade, stick to the stock its good for 300rwkw~
