  3. Rotors will spool anything. It had fullboost by 5000rpm, and you could say it was fairly quick.. There is a member of these forums with a T88-34D on a SR....
  4. I had a T8834D on a 13BT and thats only 1.3L.. meh. You know what I mean - you can't just bolt an enormous turbo onto a stock motor and expect results.
  5. T70 turbo? As in rated to some high amount of HP? If thats the case, you're going to have more than a CA18 or SR20 to get anywhere near spooling it up.

  8. I think if you're going to do it properly you'll need more than $7K - whats wrong with your current motor?
  9. The standard drive on the crank isnt wide enough to engage the standard oil pump properly.... which would have to be one of the biggest reasons so many early RB26s die. Its an engine out job as the collar has to be machined onto the crank, upgrade oil pump to N1 and then you will be ok
  10. 5) Standard oil pump drive on the drive, get a JUN collar if you don't want to rebuild the motor
  11. I know a guy with one thats been in the country for a while, it had some misfire problem which turned out to be spark plugs, but he fixed that. Its a white one. PM me if you're interested and I'll put you in contact with him.......... :aroused:

Leakdown test is the one I'm after - and I don't have access to the right size compressor nor a leak down tester currently in my possesion and I'm running out of time and unable to run around chasing these items. I've comp tested before, thats easy enough - but I'm not happy enough just to do that this time, want something more comprehensive Would prefer to take it somewhere that has had experience with these motors than a local mech, I've already been knocked back once because one shop didn't want to do it

  16. Stock turbo is massive on XR6T. They're a GT3540/GT40 (Can't remember the exact trims or anything) and they are internally gated and rated at 600hp+

  22. I'm yet to see anywhere near 400rwkw with N1s, of any form... Also be careful when stock ceramic turbos let go a few of the guys have had their motors go with it when pieces of ceramic turbo let loose into the motor What sort of motor have you got? How old is the car? How many KM? Whats your budget?
