  1. Is there a "be there by *am" time yet?
  2. Doing entry form now
  3. I get this horrible feeling they'll hear "Nissan Skyline" and just throw maximum penalty... Everything being overhyped and all, regardless of age or record. "Oh look, we got another 'hoon' off the road, isn't our system effective!"
  4. Someone was up late last night haha and why thankyou, I rather like the colour myself :P Youve got it pretty set though; there's not many colours that suit white rims, but you managed to get one, still looks tough even with stock bar. Join SAUNSW! :D

  5. You're like the first person I've ever come across to share it, no shit. And yeah we DO rawk out!

  6. no. fkn. way. same bday as me!!! exactly!

  7. Yeah, but you're awesome, so it's all good. Saw your daughter today actually, up the square with the Mr.
  8. Hi there, I've just got a new ECU put in my car, an Adaptronic, but as the Adaptronic can support up to 12 cylinders, the RPM displaying on the AVC-R is only around half of what it should be. I hope there's some setting in there to adjust (changing the "Vehicle" from 6 or whatever to another setting... may have to play with it on idle). Another problem now though is when I put it back on the factory ECU, in the sensor check, I don't get any additional voltage on the throttle; I assume that my cable may have come loose from where it's soldered? It should get a signal there, right? Also doesn't feel like it's supplying boost anymore properly, seems like wastegate only,.... which is something I really need to get working, wastegate is boring I got the pdf from Apexi for where it should be connected to the ECU; if I've got the connections right it should be fine......right? One last thing: with the "Gear Setup", are there any values that are standard across RB25's? I did an Initialize on the AVC-R, and I'm kicking myself that I didn't write down all the figures. Thanks!
  9. Then..... USE LARGE TEXT
  10. Oh thank CHRIST my car is in a garage then, it's at a workshop in Castle Hill.
  11. i hear blowjobs work too
  12. Might be handy just to ask a question to a solicitor. Like just as a general enquiry.
  13. Yeah, unfortunately he said it's based on what the cop "saw". So his word vs yours, basically. The only way you're gonna get anywhere with this is in court. If he hasn't locked in the speed.... Only problem is court fees can sometimes cost more than the fine, which is bullshit. They waste your time, then you have to pay to make your name good.
  14. Hm. Hang on, I'll ring a mate of mine who's a cop, he might know how this goes on.
  15. I think all you can do is really just ask the question, how do they determine which car was travelling at what speed? Like in a completely non-smartass way, ask the question and let them know you're unsure how it works. If there's a laser-lock or something, you're screwed, but if all they have is a bunch of cars driving along and they've gone BAM it's you, then that's just not right. Is there a speed on the video at all? If the gun they have has lost the reading because of being "bumped", they don't have a shred of evidence to say how fast you were going. As long as you're sticking with the crowd and not accelerating past them, you should be sweet.
  16. I was with JustCar until I decided I was sick of a 1700 vehicle excess, plus age, plus standard. Managed to get insurance with Shannons (2600ish per year for 16500 I think), at maximum noclaim bonus (even though I hadn't had max no-claim with anyone for the 3 years they wanted AND I'd had an accident. I had it as a purchased option, "protection" with JC), and yeah. Was 900 excess, now down to 500 that I'm 25. Bam.
  17. Odd, I got comp insurance with Shannons when I was 24... And had a bit of an accident a few days after I turned 25 (dammit) so excess was only 500. I must just have sweettalked them though

Yeah. Let's be tough on "hoons" who have a pod filter, but we won't chase after people who skim credit card details at an ATM and use them fraudelently, WHEN I'VE DONE ALL THE DAMN INVESTIGATIVE WORK AND GOTTEN NAMES AND NUMBERS FOR YOU TO RING AND THEY HAVE AN ADDRESS. GG.

Fkn superheroes. I haven't personally had any trouble for a while from hwy patrol, but all it takes is one of them being a hero. If I wanted my car to be quiet and weak I would have bought a commodore.
  20. Rang Greg just now, he seems like a top bloke. As an idea for cost for removal: I was quoted $40 to steam remove the crappy tint off my back window (it's in three strips overlaid; Greg thinks it may have been done in Japan, I wouldn't dispute it). Also asked as for getting him to come out to Castle Hill (s'where my car is at the mo) to do it, and he estimated $50 onsite fee (keep in mind CH is pretty close to Hornsby). Just an idea on prices for the other bits guys.
  21. Can't edit the above post, so: Should be ready by the weekend 100%, but we'll see how it goes.
  22. Will ring the boys with my car today and see if they can get it back to me this week; if so I'll be there; just gotta work out whether I'll be taking Matt's spot or doing it myself
  23. inc or plus post?
  24. Bump as no reply to pm
  25. that's fine, just needed a figure. if it's still avail next month, might be interested; bank's a little dry at the moment.
