    WTB: R32 GTR Centre/Triple Gauge - or just the voltage gauge I'm after the voltage gauge from the R32 GTR centre gauges: If it's too difficult to get just that, then I'm after the whole set of gauges. That one gauge is $143 brand new from Amayama, but I'm hoping someone is wrecking a GTR and I can get one for significantly cheaper.

    Hi all, Working on putting a set of GTR gauges in my GTST, and I've got two of them sorted out - what I'm having problems with is the illumination, as there's no screw to tap onto. I'm after the plug that connects this to the main wiring loom, preferably with about 10cm of wire to use for connections. Will just make it that bit neater. I understand that this means chopping up a bit of a GTR main loom, but I'm hoping that a plug with a bit of wiring won't set me back too much. (Full writeup to come when I've got all three working; torque split will be for monitoring throttle %)

    Okay clicking means your relay is fine - sounds like the motor might be toast. One of the first things I did to my 33 (back in 2006) was replace the window motor; the switch for "down" was slightly floppy, so it was stuck on, and burned out the motor. Don't be afraid to wipe that grease off; it'd be anti-corrosion stuff, but I haven't had any on mine since I did the motor and it's fine. IIRC the window motors themselves aren't too expensive; it's the cost of your sanity as you try to install it - though your hands are probably smaller than mine

    First thing to test would be the above - check if putting 12v across the motor makes it move, if so, then motor is fine (which is great because getting it out and a new one in is a pain in the arse). If that works, then look into checking the relay, it's the thing in this pic: http://i.imgur.com/GlGcsTB.jpg Pretty common for them to go out. If still not, check the switch block itself, like the switches where you put the window up and down. If it's the passenger window, note that everything needs to be plugged in on the drivers side (relay etc) for it to work.

    Change it to a 2.5" catback IIRC (happy to be corrected by the NA boys) - a 4" will kill backpressure and make the car weak as piss. Changing to high-flow cat on an NA isn't really worth the dosh. Just keep it nice and simple.

    Should do - gtr clusters work in gtst's with no mods, and I assume nismo clusters go in gtrs with no mods.

    Glad to hear it worked - was about 8 years ago I did that fix to mine. (Resolved with parts now)

    These two can't remember which way will make it go up and which will make it go down, but just tap 12v across those two after disconnecting plug, and then swap pos and neg to see which way you want.

    Sorry, no photos - but those green and blue wires that are in the plug attached to the door there - disconnect plug, and put voltage to the two wires going "into" the door. Will save and edit your photo, on my phone ATM.

    Yep, I just ran 12v to a motor when my controls were out to do it one way, then reversed to do it the other. Straight from battery is fine.
