  1. 2400/y for insured for 15k. admittedly i don't have the best driving record but it's not horrible; i've got 12 points at the mo, got the only 3 i've ever lost back in may.
  2. booyeah, got them yesterday Terry, thanks
  3. just confirming: free to come and just hang out/watch? also, andy, what's your poison of choice for the snorkel?
  4. *quickly checks credit card and bank account* *applies for mortgage on house*
  5. I should probably wash my car...
  6. I should donate to get "loves the wang" written after cass' name
  7. As Floyd said, 34GT-T, and yeah, there's plenty of places that do the work on them; as for oil changes, it's fairly similar to any car: can either do it at home or mechanic. There's plenty of performance workshops around who can do larger work if need be; there are a few that come heavily recommended by many users on this forum such as Unigroup, though I think Yavuz has a bit of a wait time because he's popular (could be wrong though about the wait). In regards to meetups: there's always something happening. If you've got a car already and are able to make it down the coast, there's a meetup this weekend, or failing that, there's a fair few events coming up. Whereabouts in Sydney are you?
  8. Almost guaranteed that someone from Nine will be reading this to see what response it has caused. Again people, we want to try and set a precedent as a club and as enthusiasts by being mature. If this means turning the cheek sometimes, so be it; I know there are times this is hard to do, but as true enthusiasts, all we can try and do is educate people about the reality of our situation, which is that we love our cars and we spend the money on them with passion, and that (and I hope this is true of all members) we behave in a safe and legal manner on the roads. You set an example with your actions... It's just unfortunate we're not given a public voice to say that.
  9. Amazing how the few spoil it for the rest of us, and the whole public perception. Although they really do need to get some new footage, the Crazy Carlos is getting old. HEY ACA THAT'S ONE GUY, GUESS HOW MANY REAL ENTHUSIASTS (eg. not idiots) THERE ARE OUT HERE. COME AND ASK US.
  10. +1, kinda what I meant with my post, or possibly an email to them, etc. But this works well, in writing is a lot more effective.
  11. s-s-s-s-sent email!
  12. errr doubt it. best thing to do would be for him to contact the RTA and get rego papers re-sent out if possible; may be a fee associated with it though.
  13. Ok boys and girls who live down south; meetup is being posted here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Me...se-t325779.html
  14. Seems that the people meeting in Casula are leaving at 10.30 sharp; estimated travel time to corner Tongarra and Terry St in AP is 1hr 15mins. Given this, I'd like to be out at AP in plenty of time, so if we meet at AP Maccas at 11, hang out until 11.30 then mosey out to the Caltex at AP, we should meet up in plenty of time with them. Thoughts? Ideas?
  15. Dude, I'll be working out a time that us south people should meet at APR Maccas, I'll make a post in the NSW section to get us all together at the same time. Will be good, good to see stags too
  16. trist, im thinkin apr maccas too; then we get confirmation when they're close and head out to AP way, near the caltex?
  17. also in the events section is a cruise up there next weekend...
  18. Most of the M-something motorways have a site you can go to, for instance the m7 is something like roam.com.au. You set up an account online and have it just for that day, and it deducts it from a credit card.
  19. maybe, how about you bring your mouthguard down and find out i also happen to love cock
  20. I wanted to get a GTR but you cvnts knocked me back and wanted to charge me 5000 a year with a 12000 excess chubbs you suck
  21. I can def. see Andy saying it to him. Also: $2400/y on a 1993 R33 insured for 15k. Works out something like 16% premium vs 3%. Again, if you've got the money to afford the car, you have to factor insurance into it.
  22. Good news mate; sucks about the damage but good that you get her back in the end. Make sure you get a good alarm from a reputable installer; and think about putting a hidden killswitch to the fuelpump somewhere too; do that afterwards so only you know where it is.
  23. Awesome, will do that next Wed/Thur, gotta wait for payday! So if it's filling up fast, I'm screwed Was good to see everyone at the AGM!
