i didn't know i needed it at the time... i thought the old piping was fine, but it turned out to be broken.

I'm looking for the pipe that connect the BOV's to the long plastic pipe that runs behind the intercooler. It has 2 holes on one side and they connect into a single pipe on the other side.. If anyone has one please send me a PM. Maybe i can post a photo later today to make things easier...

I can't wait for Motor magazine to have a drive of the new GT-R. I find their reviews and articles to be better suited to the enthusiast market than wheels magazine.

I'm sure many people felt the same way when the R32 was released back in 1989. But they found ways to improve it. At the very least, there will be people who will want their GTR to do 10 second 1/4 miles (and some will want 9's, maybe 8's). Thats how the aftermarket gets started.

'Net' values are estimations of when the engine is assembled onto the vehicle. I understand that to mean 353KW at the engine, but once the engine is installed in the car. So its still an at-the-engine figure, but the its not just the engine sitting on an engine dyno.

i doubt it. Evidence suggests that it is getting increasingly harder to import cars these days, the government put in new laws several years ago which were designed to slow down the rate of importing. I think you need a certified mechanic on site or something like that to be able to import and sell cars. So, just because there might be more cars for sale in Japan, doesn't mean all of them will make it to Australia.

Just bought the silicone hoses, thought i'd take the above advice... i'm still trying to track down all the clips etc that would mount the radiator to the radiator support, as well as the shroud + clips. -
I'm looking for r33 GTR radiator clips, radiator hoses and intercooler piping. please send me a PM ASAP if you have these parts for sale.

the R32 must have been a revelation when it was released in 1989. it pisses me off when people compare the earlier GTR's to more modern performance cars without realising how revolutionary they must have been at the time of their release. even when the R33 was released, it was as fast if not faster than the lower end porsches and ferraris of the day (infact there's an old top gear video doing the rounds which compares said cars).

Why don't we wait for the GT-R to be released before we jump to conclusions. Considering Carlos Ghosn has been repeatedly mentioning the history and purpose of the GT-R brand, it would be plain silly to assume that Nissan is softening up the next GT-R without any concrete evidence.

I did a search about replacement fan clutches and i found a comment that someone posted interesting. They were saying that fan clutches from RB30 will fit a RB26. is this true? Are the fan clutches different for the RB30DE and DET? Will they actually fit a RB26DETT?

Finding some of the more unusual parts for a GTR is like trying to find the proverbial white elephant. You know it exists somewhere, you just can't seem to find the bloody thing.

I find it odd that someone would buy a car, and THEN check if they're allowed to drive it. Isn't is common sense to take care of the legalities first?

Ok i know i definately need the clutch, i'm still trying to find out if i need a fan aswell. can't remember if the old one is ok.

I loved the part about the Skylines. They talked so much crap it wasn't funny. One of the guys they interviewed said that the engine could handle 1000HP without blowing up. Yeah right, if you had a spare $100K to spend on a mods and a rebuild.
