i don't know whats wrong with some of the guys here. are we PERFORMANCE CAR ENTHUSIASTS or are we bigots? my dream garage would consist of a C2 corvette stingray, my GT-R, a hot hatch for daily commuting, various other muscle cars (camaros, mustangs, cobras etc etc). i love PERFORMANCE CARS.

did you even watch the video that i provided? the ztune could NOT out accelerate any of those cars (the lambo and z06 have been tested and do the 1/4 in the mid 11's). you do the math. there is no way that ztune was capable of doing the 1/4 in 10's.

actually, the following video clip might dispell the myth of the z-tune. it couldn't out accelerate any of the other cars(actually they were surprisingly evenly matched from the standing start) which indicates a mid 11 second quarter mile(which is still bloody fast, but not as fast as the 10.1 that some websites are reporting). i would dare say that an enzo could dispatch of a z-tune. http://www.carareok.com/blog/index.php/p1877

You're all wrong. It was discovered that the pfc's were infact part of a large scale plan to take over the world. at a later date, all the cars with pfc's would become aware (ie skynet) and would take over the world, one hit and run at a time. can't you guys read between the lines?

98WRX. as has already been mentioned, R32's are just too old compared with the WRX you are looking at.

i'm 182cm, 90kg. my GT-R seat is a little too narrow for me, but it is still liveable. my back doesn't actually fit, it feels like the side bolsters are digging into the outside of my lats. it grips my body like buggery though, so i put up with it.

something tells me that lancer won't be as fast as an evo. i think its the small rims that make the difference.

exactly. just because the engine may have come from a corvette, doesn't mean the rest of the car is at the same level of performance.

I have run and beaten several eights with my near stock GT-R. it felt great. the problem is that people are bagging skylines, they are confusing GTS-Ts(which are still great vehicles BTW!!!) with GT-R's. i haven't met anyone that has driven a GT-R that wasn't absolutely astounded by its overall ability as a performance car.

I've already said this, but i'll say it again because some other guys have mentioned it. if you are only considering a R32 GT-R, then get the R34 GTT. HOWEVER, an R33 GT-R would be my recommendation. newer than the R32, much faster than the R34 GTT. The R33 GT-R is the best of both worlds. with a little haggling, you can get a very clean stock R33 GT-R for 25K-28K. my brother in law bargained my car's previous buyer down to 25K for mine and it is in absolutely immaculate condition.

well there were a couple of 400R front bumpers for sale in the for sale forums. it sucks when your pride and joy gets hit.

for that price you can get a relatively clean stock R33 GT-R. i paid 25K for my S2 V-spec. originally i wanted to purchase a R32, which is still my favourite GTR model. but the R33 is a newer car than the R32, yet you still get the RB26 and the ATESSA. remember that R32's are getting quite old, some as old as 18 years. so many of them would have had a hard life. on the other hand, i find R34 GTT's to be a very attractive buy. they are the best looking of the non-GTR models, they are still quite new. they go hard, they have a great interior. unless you HAVE to have a GT-R, i would get the R34 GTT over a R32 GTR.

No barrier needed. i believe that the 2JZ is a better engine than any RB. However, just because the engine is better, doesn't mean the car is better. i.e. rb26 vs 2JZ - 2JZ seems to be the better motor. GTR vs Supra as a car to drive? GTR is the better overall performance car. now i need that flame retardant barrier!!! :nyaanyaa:

afaik, a window tint is a film on the inside of the glass, so it should be able to be removed. if you become a SAU member, you can get access to discounted window tinting(among other things).

I reckon the Mclaren is the ultimate supercar. damn, it is just an absolute classic. f40, enzo, veyron, ccx, etc etc, the mclaren is my absolute fave.

the previous owner installed a viper alarm. but i have no idea what it is. can anybody tell me how the hell i can find out? i've checked the engine bay and i can't seem to find where the module is. if somebody could pm me with the possible location of the module(for security purposes obviously) that would great. EDIT: fortunateley the owner before that(the first owner) fitted a 3-point vdo immobiliser which i am thinking of reconnecting in place of the viper. i just did a few tests. i prefer the vdo.
