  3. Hate to really disappoint you guys with RB25 Stageas, but the 260RS gets almost 400 km from every tank. which calculates to average around 14-16 l/100km. i assume the tanks are the same size, so the RB25's must be gas guzzling things!!!
  4. So i;ve been doing a bit more investigating into the effects of hte switch, It seems that no matter what setting i have the switch in, there is the same levels show on the torgue Guage. WHen i switched the attessa to minimal front torque, i almost spun the car around a corner ie no front grip, ut the guage still showed nearly 50 Kg/cm of torque. I asssume the guage is rigged up somewhere before the attessa system takes over? any idea?
  5. Managed to pull the boot lining out today and found where the lead went.....it went to small silver box behind the Attessa System. The reason the switch was not working before was becuase it had come loose from the connection so i reconnected it, all working now. Went for a quick burn and just from the torque split guage, it seems that with it one position, there is minimal torque to the front wheels (but these is some, NOT RWD) middle setting is as per normal attessa control, and then top position is heaps more front torque and results in a lot of chatter when taking off quickly when the front wheels are struggling for grip. I guess that i would be much better off just leaving it in normal position, to make sure i dont end up with any problems associated with driving in RWD mode??
  6. Nah no TV, dot think the Autech ever got a TV did it? will get some pics, but i'm pretty sure it would be something to do with the Atessa......i have tried switching the switch and seeing if it effects the torque gauge on the dash but it seems to be same in every mode......??
  7. Thanks SKA, yes i mean passenger side, and yes i have read all the stuff relating to RWD mode, might do some more research into that, as i have just replaced the clutch and want it last me a while!

I have traced the wire from an aftermarket 3-stage switch which is mounted on my dash beside the rear window demister, which leads all the way back to the rear left boot compartment, beside where a 6-stacker could usually be mounted. Havent had the opportunity to pull off the boot lining to look at what it actually goes to, but just thought i would ask to see what is actually in there?? Anyone have any ideas? there looks to be two or three different components in there?? IDEAS Cheers, Tim

  10. Some of the Older M3's do but they have often had a hard life!.....at this stage, If i do sell the Stagea, i'm looknig more towards the AUDI's....there is just something about them that i love.......

I imported the car Early Jan 2007 - Have absolutely loved driving the car, but realised it just isn't me anymore (much to my Fiance's relief). The car is in awesome condition and totally exceeded my expectations when it arrived off the boat - would consider a swap with anything a bit more conservative along the lines of Audi A4/S4 or maybe BMW M3 etc The interior is in immaculate condition and the only damage on the car is the usual Front bar scratches underneath and a small chip which is visible on the front bar lip. The Car was graded 4BB at the Auction house in Japan. The car is in Melbourne and i can be contacted on 0410 85 88 94 OR by PM. SO i Spotted my first 'brother' in Melbourne last night....Awesome Looking Bayside Blue (it was dark, i was drunk, and my GF was driving so she couldn't have cared less!) with plates R34WGN - didn't get a chance to see if it had the 34 front end, but it def had a 260RS rear wing!. It was on City road at about 12.00pm just behind the casino......ANYONE ON HERE? Say hi! Tim

Got my Autech on the road yesterday and already there have been 3 different times where people have asked me what the hell it is....twice at the lights and once at the servo........i tell em its a volvo on steriods......the classic was my mum, who told me that she was happy i'd finally bought a "sensible" car because it is a family wagon....i just laughed!

  19. Is there any other 260RS owners in Vic?? does anyone know if the stagea (260RS) airbox is def the same as the GTR one?? like does it have the same mounting points? all help greatly appreciated

Hey Guys, well the beast arrives tomorrow and in its modified state, its not going to pass compliance!! it has a twin aftermarket air filter set-up which needs to be replaced with a standard airbox.....does anyone know if the R33 GTR airbox will fit, or does anyone happen to have a standard autech airbox which i could borrow? The exhaust may be another problem.....again does anyone have a standard autech stagea exhaust hanging around?? I know this is all a long shot, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Tim
  22. Alex, Its coming to Melbourne, and yes I already have 18's for it (see below), so the wheels will be up for sale. I'll need them for compliance etc, but will def contact you when they become available.
