  1. +1 for an awesome day. My pasty right arm is now red also! Really good day though, the cruise back through wine country with cassbo etc was epic!
  2. Just got up, and its bloody hot here. Gonna go wash my car and get some fuel!
  3. Looking forward to this Gonna have to get up early and wash my car I think!
  4. SHIBBY!!!
  5. Yeh, something is not right at all. Had a quick look before, but couldn't see much. I need to get the tape measure out before I start buying arms i think If the previous owner did do something, they were pretty dumb to only to it to one side
  6. Yeh, I had it wheel aligned when I bought it. Thats how I know it has 3.5 deg neg camber.
  7. Try Goldie Engineering 11 Alban Street, Lidcombe 9648 2699 Les would be more than happy to help you out.
  8. I'm still keen, +1 passenger. I'll deposit $40 now for lunch. EDIT: Just deposited the $40, Ref prescott06 Putty Road
  9. Camber isn't adjustable without either eccentric bolts/bushes or camber arms. Radius rods dont really have an effect on camber.
  10. I know -3.4 is heaps, hence why I know something is wrong. It is fairly low at the front, but the left hand side only has -1.5 camber. Looks like I might just go with the Just Jap arms.
  11. I had already seen the whiteline gear, they only adjust .75 deg. though
  12. So I recently bought a S1 R33 Gtst. First thing I did was take it for a wheel alignment as it was pulling left considerably. Everything was adjusted fine, apart from the front right camber is at -3.4 degrees or so. I can't see anything obviously bent. Without pulling all the arms out and comparing side to side, are there some measurements I should be taking? If its a case of throwing a pair of adjustable upper arms on, are the Cusco items the ones to go for? Would the Just Jap ones be worth considering, given that this car is my daily driver?
  13. Awesome!
  14. Damn, that puts me out then, even if I drive a skyline, and joined SAUNSW a couple of days ago?
  15. Time to take my new car for its maiden cruise. In like Flyn. +1 Passenger also
  16. Yeh, it needs more low in the rear and 25mm less offset all round
  17. A couple of shots of my new rig:
  18. Its time to let my e30 go to a new home, I don't have the time or space to give it the attention it needs and I just bought an R33 Good points: - Megasquirt standalone ECU (have standard ecu, afm etc so its easy to change back) - LC-1 wideband oxygen sensor, controller and gauge (needs new sensor i think) - Beige leather interior - 2 door - Manual sunroof - Custom front strut brace - HID low beam headlights - Strong motor and gearbox, blows no smoke - 10mm thick or so front skid plate - Some sort of aftermarket exhaust (not too loud or raspy, sounds deep and throaty) The bad: - The bilstein shocks need rebuilding (front left is seized i think ) - Front right wheel bearing needs replacing - Rear shock mounts need doing - There are 2 small areas of rust, just above the rear left tail lights and at the base of the drivers side A-pillar - The leather has worn through on the steering wheel - Dash is cracked (I do have a spare that is a lot better but not 100%) - Body work has a couple of dents, clear coat is fading in some places I'm not going to lie and say the car is perfect, it does need some attention. With a bit of work it would make a nice daily driver or could be a good base for a track car. $2250, or open to offers If your interested, give me a call on 0424180029. Located on Northern Beaches, Sydney. Cheers, Tom
  19. I understand you need the cash, but would you consider reducing the price if it didnt include the 25/30 gear?
  20. If you we're after a newer tow car I'd seriously look at the Isuzu ute. We have a 2009 D-max with the 3L turbo diesel manual. It costs us about $50 in fuel to get to Wakie and back from the Northern Beaches. In an 80 series petrol cruiser it costs us that to get to and from oran park. It tows really well, you hardly notice 2000kg of car and trailer. Comfy inside (back seat isnt great though) and plenty of space in the tray.
  21. I have a friend who works on big diesel ship engines, he said to stop the boat they run the engine in reverse. Only it can take up to 30 mins to get it running backwards and then it can backfire and blow the massive turbo to bits!! Also, not only is this the worlds biggest engine, but the worlds biggest repost.
  22. I just spotted an R35 (presumably Australian delivered) outside the Nissan dealer in Brookvale, Sydney. Red, with SC000 number plate. I dont suppose that belongs to anyone here?
  23. If anyone needs it, i just made up a cutting/drilling template for the 125 Series, the one they supply is for the 120 series and slightly different. Print it out full size and you should be sweet Aerocatch_template.PDF
  24. Thanks guys, fixed now Turns out the slipper end of the spring had slipped out of its housing, after driving round with no weight on a bit it popped back in
