Honestly im looking at about 12 to 15 k for an r32 and maybe another 3k to those figures for an r33 seeing as I will be de registering it as soon as I get it home to pull apart and rebuild as a project car so the condition isnt important just no major accident damage to the chassis

I was speaking to an old club I was with in sydney they used to do a skid pan day out at singleton not sure where or of its still there but maybe something for the hunter peoples if there is a few plus its a nice drive lot of accommodation in the area etc :-D

New so time for a new ride I am looking for a TWIN turbo GT-R as close to stock as possible. I would prefer R33 but still love the R32 shape so either is cool. Im happy to travel the east coast to look but living in tamworth means some coordination to see a car in syd (7 hours) or bris (8 hours). Cheers jimmib

I have to agree with evil my first track day i did with a Mitsubishi mirage with some run of the mill 15" aftermarket rims and some street tires i drove to the track removed EVERYTHING that was not bolted down including most of the stereo passenger seat and rear seat stuck some numbers on the doors and had a blast i then worried about a track car and am now looking at another one i can tell you now unless you strive to be a backyard mechanic or have some good friends that are mechanics it gets very expensive very fast but can be worth the time, bloodshed (from skinned knuckles) and money. IF you enjoy it.

im told that in order to bleed the ATESSA system properly you need to short out the ATESSA pump from the battery or similar power source?? is this correct?? Also i have a nasty griding noise coming from the brakes all the time and cannot find any pads on metal they are all 40%-50% meat left in the pads??????? they HAVE however been sitting for like the better part of 2 years in the brakes un driven is it just a case of new pads and machine rotors or is there more as the ABS light is on in cabin. thanks for the answers guys given me something to think about With the turbo i am told it is supposed to be the equivilant of the twins but the reason it is there is the STD twins were blown and i didnt have access to any "new" ones looks like it was a good thing i kept all the STD twin setup i may have to find some stock replacements then hmmmmmm. Mainly im looking to find out about power FC's and profec B's as i am NFI about there workings and if they be good or not any nown bugs/flawes etc and what ppl who use there cars on the track (ie circuit). ( thnking clearly makes asking so much easier lol ) and i have no idea what brand T70 it is atm i really dont have any money as i have run out buying other parts to get the bastard running it was all i had available at the time......... and thanks STR8E180 was good to see what someone else is using for an idea where to head!!! Hi all, I've nearly got the bastard up and running so im wondering what other ppl are running, where they got the gear, what they think of there setup's, and who they got it from..... im using a T70 comp unknown specs with a T3 exhaust housing. 50mm external gate profec B spec 2 boost controller and Power FC computer stock suspension for now as im researching and am getting DBA slots and EBC green stuff for pads (F) and DBA slots and EBC black stuff ®. interested to know what people have experienced with power FC's on and off the track as i hear they have a problem with idle and AC???
