Never had any major mechanical problems and the car mechanical is very sound. Serviced every 3000km's with motul oils and high peformance oil filters(worth $40 each). Oil pressure is always perfect, as is water temperature. Timing belt has been changed under 1000km’s ago. AFM was replaced with a low km one as i fckd up the other one cleaning it There is a bit of wear on the dash as gauges were stuck there when it came over from Japan, and a tiny tear on the door side of the driver's seat. Comes with RWC and Registration until August 23000

Some nice cops will let you drive it home, but most wont. Remember if u get done like 2-3 times they can take u to court for more severe fines and they'll hassle u very bad, forcing u to sell ur car. Buy an R32

The Blitz design for the rb25 is the best...it has the piping goin under the intercooler. Just cant get a better desing than that for an rb25

Most probably a thrust bearing. Do a search on it..should lighten it up for you. Nuthin major...

Yeah i'll be there with the NS crew, wont put my car in this time but i really want to

yeah mine does the same. IT happens all the time but as soon as any slight pressure it put on the clutch it goes away. I've been told by numerous people it's the thrust bearing..nothing major. If u find u have to put the clutch all the way in to get rid of the sound it could be something different

hmm i would of thought with ur current mods on an RB20 i assume, u'd have 150-160max rwk. I highly doubt u could get to 220 with those extra mods. For one u'll need a computer, clutch....and i reckon 22o is pushing the gt25 turbo. Interesting to hear other people's comments

I'm in the southeastern suburbs....i think i'll take it to this workshop i know of. He seems to know a fair bit about imports....anyway just for the timing belt he has quoted me a minimum of $280 to change, me providing the timing belt. He said it could go up to around 310 if something was rusted and hard to get off or something, meh i dont know, but he seemed to know what he was talkin bout Cheers dudes, SImon

Ok first of all where do u live. If it's in the eastern suburbs around knox, ringwood maroondah area u WONT get away with it. Trust me this is comin from experience. The police here know what they are lookin for, u just wont last very long. Too many TMU cars that just patrol the main roads here, u cant get away But over the other side of melbourne and northside they are usually pretty cool unless u do something wrong.

I could try to measure it for you but i can assure u it wont be accurate at all. Best bet would be, like u said, to come look at it. I wouldnt expect u to buy it or anything, just see if u fit in it. It has bottom rail mounts, apparently very close to/ if not the same as recaro rails.
