  2. Surprised...... I was expecting quad turbo's feeding a blower with nitrous & 12inch wide rims.... That would have been a surprise. but instead you have a stockish vn showing its age, thats no surprise. I feel ripped off for looking
  3. Im not sure what job you have to get 14k christmas bonuses..... but id like to give you my resume if you do!!
  4. My purchased new from nissan N1 failed 2 weeks ago, nailed 2nd, hit the limiter & thought I heard something..... checked my oil pressure to notice it was down to about 15psi & dropping to zero not long after. shut it straight off so hopefully not to much damage. been on my 26/30 making 455rwhp for about 3k, all balanced with Ati balancer, pro engines collar. pulled the pump off to find gears smashed to pieces, minimal damage to the crank collar. Ill never use an N1 pump again, massive waste of money to buy and almost cost me a fortune in f@#ked motor. think I was lucky to catch it before massive engine failure. The question now is what pump. I have an RB25 pump, anyone had any problems with them breaking? or does an RB30et toothed oil pump perform good enough to support twin cam setup? Thoughts?
  5. I have one of these in my GTSt, they are awsome! easy to use & work a treat, a mans clutch! Good price, good luck with the sale
  6. I have a laser cut one to suit RB26.... doesnt help you though.... I got it drawn on CAD, still have the file, just give it to the laser cutting place to be done.
  7. Thats heaps sick fully!! to bad Im fully north side!! word! +30 isnt that aggressive on a GTR, thats pretty tame. If they were +12 then they would be super fully sick as bro, eastside style! I mean north side.... Word!
  8. I have one, you have pm
  9. I had the same issue with my block, I didnt even realise until I had it bored etc.... Was an easy fix with a bit of steel & some work with the grinder. because the thread is still already tapped, all you need is a piece of steel to make a washer/backing plate. measure how thick from the base of the stud to the height of the machined part of the block where the original tensioner sits (6mm rings a bell), drill a hole in the bit of steel, then shape the steel to fit flat & flush (bit of scalloping required to go over the oil gallery) Make sure you use a bit big enough to fit the flat of the tensioner onto, from memory Imy piece filled the whole area from the flat machined part right accross to where the cover sits. grind it into shape until it sits spot on with the tensioner holding it in place, when thats all good I used liquid metal behind the new bit of plate & did up the tensioner to hold in place until cured. worked a treat for me, just a bit of messing around. Hope this helps, havnt got any pics sorry.
  10. Has anyone used a 3" magnaflow metalcat? what are they like?
  11. I have tried a 3" X-force "high flow" cat (the ones that are similar shape to stock) and they suck in my application. Thanks for the input, thats the kind of stuff I was trying to find out. I was thinking of a metal cat or magic cat, apparently the std GTR ones flow quite good, id be interested to know if anyone is using one & what sort of results they get from it. So far Ive made my 3" dump with external gate merge down stream below the passenger footwell, need to sort out my catback system & get my fingers on a good cat. Planning on running straight through barrell at the rear with a straight through oval style muff in the middle
  12. who's using what when it comes to cat convertors? not sure which is the best way to go. Anyone got flow rates on the std GTR one?
  13. yes, still for sale. Price tune up, $9800.00
  14. Thanks, I warmed it right up last night & found pretty much the same result as yours, I was just a bit sus that I may have had something more sisnister causing it. Do you run a restrictor for your turbo oil feed? Im running GT3540 (brand new) & noticed a bit of oil in the compressor, I know they have small feed holes down in the cartridge but thinking I may need one in the block fitting similar to the standard banjo style or weather its just settling
  15. here's a better interior pic, not so dark car is still for sale, open to offers
  16. Finally fired the new machine into life with a slightly strange situation, Im running N1 pump, 26 head with 2 x 1mm restrictors. The strange part is I have fitted a mechanical autometer oil pressure gauge off the main gallery where the original RB30 oil pressure sender screw into & it gradually goes off the chart to 100psi at idle..... Im running 15/40 shell helix mineral oil, the std oil pressure gauge on the dash reads about 3/4. Not sure if I have an issue with the oil thickness or a bodgy gauge.... Anyone else had this? I havnt fully warmed it up yet as still fitting the wideband sensor & want to make sure all is good Cheers, Matt
  17. Anyone interested in trade on S15? cash adjustment ready to go.
  18. I also have an RB25 turbo that hasnt been fitted, removed from my 33 running std boost
  19. Prob not at this stage, its my wifes & she's after an S15. Thanks anyway
