  1. It's the bonnet that UAS in Sydney sells. They're $1100 +$100 postage which is a fair bit for a bonnet but my old one needed to be replaced so when you factor in $400 for a new steel one plus around $300 for painting it's not that much more expensive. Plus it's weighs about a third as much, is vented, doesn't need spraying and looks cool! :uh-huh:
  2. Might have been me - I went for a cruise around Mt Cootha on sunday evening. Often a few lines around there... Mines a white 33 with carbon bonnet.
  3. Hey buddy, Sounds like an ignition problem to me. If engines just don't go like that it's usually fuel or spark and it sounds like something electrical blew. For the engine to not go at all it would have to be something common to all cylinders as you're hardly going to lose all six coil packs or plugs at once. Maybe your ignition relay blew? Might be a wiring problem although this is less likely as you'd probably get no spark at all. Also could be a amplifier problem if the earth is damaged or something? I'd be getting the auto-electrician or mechanic to my place asap. :uh-huh: Have included a wiring diagram which may help if you haven't got it already...
  4. nah, sorry neo, it's just been fitted and my car is still in the shop having a couple of upgrades cause I failed to keep left at a keep left sign and won't be finished till next friday. I'll take some piccies after that though. Have decided to spend a heap of cash on my car while it's out of action so can't wait till I get it back. Time drags without your line...
  5. I've seen your line a couple of times, Erin. Recognised you from a cruise I went on (to BWCP - Easter). I usually wave at other peoples lines too but last time I saw your car I was walking through the valley and I thought you might think I was a bit weird if I waved from the footpath! That's a beautiful car, Zoix. I drive a white R33 with a carbon-fibre bonnet and I'm always out and about so if anyone sees me, say hi and Sam.
  6. You should definitely go see the people at Toowong Auto Service in Sylvan Rd Toowong as mentioned earlier in this thread. I have only heard good things about them from a number of different sources. I'm getting some work done with them in the next couple of months.
