  10. I don't think i'm sold on it. Purely off looks anyway.
  11. I actually don't mind that ad. Ad's aren't always lathered in product info and demo's to sell the product. Most of the time (as is being seen as a common trend with Cadbury) the ad's are purely used to grab your attention. I think if Nissan were to change anything in this ad, they should take the Murano out. It's got it's own line of ad's currently, and doesn't fit the theme of the ad (370Z and GTR being sports cars). I'm not sure what sound they've got (as i don't have volume on my work cpu) but this may make all the difference as bad music will create a bad feeling around the ad from it's viewers. Some people have mentioned that they wish the GTR had an ad on it's own. And yes that would be good. But it would be a waste of money for Nissan. The GTR is not one of their mainstream cars, and as GTTR34 said, it's out of the price ranges of most average joes. So for most people (excluding GTR fans) they would probably take little to no interest and change channels. And depending on the ad they created, it may very well "cheapen" the image of the GTR. It's exactly the same reason why Ferrari doesn't advertise. 9/10 people can't afford a Ferrari. Putting a Ferrari ad on prime time television could possibly "cheapen" its image if it's surrounded by cadbury and kitchen cleaner ads, and would be seen as "common" Ferrari's brand sells the product, not advertising. Maybe this is what Nissan is trying to achieve. Their maybe hoping the GTR doesn't need advertising, just a little mention in an ad?
  12. looks the goods man! will visit again

  16. Why is it a "pool table"?? Why isn't it pool table? Or is a "pool table" something a bit more sinister?
  17. That's kinda cool in a weird sort of way. I couldn't see myself rushing out to buy one... and to be quite honest, i can't see sales booming.
  18. yeah he got cleared to play
  19. Have to say i don't agree...definitely not a fan.. mmm...maybach excelero...i remember when Mick Doohan drove this around bathurst and got it back to the pits and smashed the front bar on a grate lol i don't like the 458. Everything just looks odd on it.. Give me a 430 any day Aston Martins will always be classy...it's just the way the world is. Mclaren F1...probably my all time fav car... It's just such a well designed car. I love it. I have to say the winner for me is:
  20. I am a fanatic Dogs supporter. But i will be going for the Eels this weekend purely because i despise Billy Slater
  21. mate, just accept it. You're an idiot. Andrew puts alot of time, effort, and MONEY into producing this DVD to help our community. I know this cos i've literally seen him take money out of his own wallet to cover expenses. As we've covered before..this is a "you scratch my back, i'll scratch yours" scenario. Andrew covers SAU event (such as 10th Anniversary R34 GT-R Cruise in MotiveDVD #3). non-SAU associated people watch dvd and see SAU Ppl then join SAU cos they want to be involved. ppl then donate/join club because they like the forum SAU profits SAU keeps running. I admit, i haven't donated to SAU...yet. I will be buying another skyline as my next ride, and will then be joining the NSW Club to help support the forum. I would personally like to see you produce a better DVD, and sell it, without the support of forums and a like. 99% of people on these forums love these sorts of DVD's, and love that Andrew is doing it for them. he's not in it to get $$$$$$$, he does it for the love of the industry. The guy owns 3 imports for f*ck sake..he loves them
  22. spotted RB-26-DE yesterday, was an R32 GT-R in blacktown
  23. oh.. well yeah it's a bit easier if it's a one off
  24. These guys are obviously short of money... anyone notice the track bred porsche in the background? Not to mention the 2 mint mustangs, and the other E46 BMW
  25. awesome. Just awesome. I'd love to have the time, dedication, and money to be able to undertake something like this. I never had the time to even do a bloody service on my own car..let alone such a detailed build!
