Hey buddy, I work for subaru, the reason they designed the new impreza/wrx the way they did was because they were trying to appeal to a different market. When you previously thought WRX etc you normally thought young males..or older males (40ish) They wanted to appeal more towards women and try and grow their "fan base" but in doing so alot of die-hard WRX/STI fans have been turned away purely because they don't like the shape. However they will be bringing out a sedan later this year (the official launch was last month) however i still think it'll turn alot of ppl off the WRX. As for the forester, i can't comment much, and i do think that the previous model XT (turbo) Forester looks better than the current. I think they were just trying to go with the current design trends of the market (Mitsubishi Outlander looks somewhat similar) Hope this helps you mate Nick

spotted a silver f430 this morning in norwest

wish i had of known this when i had my r32...i couldn't figure out how to fix it...it was summer at the time and was only blowing hot air...so there's a hose (i think it may be a heater hose of some sort) that connects to a pipe at the back of the engine bay near the fire wall...i disconnected that and hooked it up to another hose and that gave me just cold air..then when i wanted hot air (winter) i reconnected the hoses

just spotted 2 R33s in burbank place..one gunmetal, one maroon... anyone on here?

Yes the stig is wearing same helmet..same suit...everything is the same. To me he seemed REALLY slow? Or is that just me? The track sucked...maybe thats why he seemed slow. The "clarkson" impersonator was crap. He was definitely trying too hard. The little short guy annoys me because he says nissan funny...he says...niss-anne...idiot!! The guy with the beard is alright..even tho i don't think he really said much..he was trying too hard when he did. and wtf is the "What were they thinking?" wall? Thats the one thing they came up with for themselves and its the stupidest thing i've ever heard...its just the "uncool" section of the UK's cool wall. They don't drive the cars hard enough...i didn't see one ounce of tyre smoke coming from the carerra or anything... GTR was undoubtedly the highlight of the show....even if it was the Haltech one...oh and one other highlight was when the short guy was driving through the snow in the x-trail and he said something about trying a scando flick... I really want to like this show....but its not going to be easy if they keep this up

Well they've approved plans for a street circuit to be built at Homebush. IMO it will be good. It'll really be something to hear the big v8's screaming through homebush.... What are your thoughts on the whole thing? Is this taking away from our other circuits? Or will this help grow the sport? Do you think this will take away from drift?

400 is my main aim....but if i get to 500 i'll be happy. Lets just say 450 to be safe lol I'm still undecided whether to go GTR or GTST too..i'm thinking gtst tho but i'm not sure. mite have that as the power car..and just have a stock gtr maybe...if i'm made of money by that stage I want at least 400 as i said..would the N1's get me there? Would i need something bigger?
