  1. I was going to make comment to this in my post but wasn't sure if it was appropriate of me to given the circumstances.
  2. OMG i saw this today when i got to work. Thought it was such a tradgic accident. Makes it even worse to be someone you clearly all have so much respect for. Condolences to all friends, family, and everyone else who knew the guys. I unfortunately did not get the pleasure, but i can see their memories will live on through the forum. And props to you Nick, for doing the honourable thing, and making a thread for this.
  3. You go to Blacktown TAFE? me too! LOL
  4. Oh really? sweet! that'd be better than not having powersteering lol

  6. That is awesome! Love the vid!
  7. Thankyou craved!!! 6.0L NA will do perfectly then! Will have a detremental affect on turbo'ing it though....hmmm...oh well...as long as i can do it that's the main thing! Is it true when you put a GM V8 in an R32 you have to for go the power steering?
  8. spotted a white R34 GTT today on Wrights Rd in kellyville....

  12. spotted BUL37T R34 GTT last night in Blacktown
  13. spotted Gibbo_R35 at work today! I walked outside and he was parking, i would've stopped and said G'day but i had to get my morning coffee..then i'm pretty sure you walked into Savannah's...but didn't wanna say anything incase it wasn't you lol
  14. Thanks man. But no, will be NA for a little while..then eventually will resort to whacking some boost through it
  15. Not sure what you mean by squids? At this stage i'll be keeping the motor NA...and then later down the track it will be gaining hairdryers.
  16. Thanks mate, i'm looking forward to it....
  17. I have followed Bezerks thread yes. And will continue to do so. As for that other thread..starts off ok but then turns into a "Could an RB do Bathurst" thread... Never really considered it to be honest. I'm fairly keen on doing an LS* conversion as i'm familiar with the motors and like the way they perform
  18. Can i just ask somethign (and i'll be honest i haven't read the whole thread) but is this a track only car? As im looking to do an LS* V8 conversion on an R32 but am aiming for street use..
  19. Hi Guys, Well in the next few months i am hopefully going to be the owner of an R32 GTSt after an extended hiatus from the Skyline scene. What i will be wanting to do with it, is eventually do a V8 conversion, now i understand that getting this approved through the RTA may prove difficult (even impossible) hence why i am wanting to research teh topic well before i go down that path. Also, for anyone that has done this type of conversion, what's the best motor? I'd be looking at a Holden motor so would it be LS1/2/3? L98? I could also potentially have access to a "cheap" crate motor from the states, but not sure of what is available there, and would at this stage prefer to keep it local. I know a few guys on here have done it, but i am under the impression they have only been used as track cars, nothing for street yet? Cheers Nick
  20. Definitely need to get one of these...
  21. I've recently built a silver R35...definitely looking to do more so i can get better..my main downfall is adding the stickers to them. I also have a 1:18 diecast of Nomuken's R34 BLITZ skyline, and another 1:18 of the Blue Calsonic R32 GT-R
  22. Can't say i've really driven anything of this sort of calibre... best car is probably Terry's R34 GT-R...then again...was too scared to do anything in it because it was wet and it was the first time i'd even met him. Under that, my old R32 GTSt I've driven a few v8's (Monaro CV8 and a VE SS-V)
  23. I'm sorry, you probably get asked this alot, but do you have any idea what would be required to get this approved in NSW? Definitely keen to get back into an R32 and i think i could quite easily handle driving something of this calibre...
