Nsw Police Driving With P Plates

i agree i have no problem with the cops using tactics to get the real idiots on the road. but when they start hassling the people not doing anything wrong..thats when it annoys me -
Nsw Police Driving With P Plates
Black Widow replied to Black Widow's topic in General Automotive Discussion
yeah i've seen that driving round... i think its wrong too...they're driving 50k cars...on our money...how does that work? and GTST...no i dont have proof. this is what they are saying they are going to do. it was in the papers -
Ok. Firstly before i start let me just say i'm new to ranting so if its not good just bare with me. This is in regards to the fact that now NSW police are now supposedly driving undercover Subaru WRX's, Ford Falcons, etc, with P plates on. As far as i was aware, to drive a police vehicle you need to be on your full lisence (can someone clarify this for me?) And also the fact that if a full lisenced driver, accidentally leaves p plates on their vehicle (child is on p plates or something) and the cops see this, they are pulled over and fined! A bit hypocritical don't you think? And by using p plates to try and get "hoons" (i think they're referring to us in that ) to slip up, isn't that some form of entrapment? Surely what they're doing can't be legal? If anyone wants to join in on my rant please you are more than welcome to. And i apologise if this is a repost. Thanks for listening Nick

Hey guys/girls, A few guys at work are thinkin of organising a track day. and we were thinking if we can get enough people there we can get the track for the day? Hopefully some of you guys are interested because it would be great to finally meet you guys. If your interested obviously either post here or pm me (either way) and i'll relay it to the guys here. At this stage we're not sure of the date but we were thinking it would be heaps easier to get the track for the day rather than pay the $110+ each Costs for renting the whole track for a day are $3500 + other expenses so out the question...so.. Dates available for the "Speed off the streets" days are : 1st, 5th, 7th, 14th, 18th, 21st, 25th & 28th FEB These will be posted under Calendar shortly on their site http://wakefieldpark.com.au Costs for these type of days are : $110 per person (not per vehicle) driving on the track $50-55 Australian Autosport Alliance licence (annually) $20 Helmet hire from track + $50 deposit Please come back to me in the next couple of days as to which days(s) in February will suit each of you. From this we can plan a day and go forward.

my cousin bought a car off (name deleted) and had problem after problem, ABS module went while he was going down a hill which joined onto a major highway (so he had no brakes) and we always had a few other issues with it. I bought the car off my cousin, i mean it was a great car (i regret selling it) and admittedley with its age (89 R32 GTST sedan) there were bound to be problems i guess the fact that they didn't tell us any of the issues and then when we confronted them about the ABS issue (which happened within a month) they didn't wanna know about it which we thought was slack. At the same time i've heard people that have bought cars from (name deleted) and have had nothing but good things to say about them....so i guess it all depends...personally i wont use them again.
