  5. It just has the standard computer which has been remaped. PFC is definatly the first on the cards and a good tune. Yeah white smoke / steam is really faint and does disapate straigh away. I guess coz I'm new to the RB26 (only had a 25 before hand), I'm sketchin about every little thing thats goin on.
  6. With the radiator, I am getting a new thermostat put in and the radiator fulshed, cleaned and new coolant put in. Is there another way to check if the head gasket is or on its way to being screwed? If the head gasket is screwed, what's a rough estimate to get it fixed?
  7. I did a search and couldn't really find what I am after. When I start my car, there is a little puff of white smoke, and that's it. None when i'm driving or boosting, just on start up. What would be causings this? Also after that my exhaust has quiet a strong smell, it's had to tell what the smell is of - similar to burnt fuel, but this is constant. I also had the car dynoed (not a tune or check, was just an open day dyno runs) and they said the car is runnin a bit lean. What would this be from and how can it be fixed. My Car is a 32 with a 26 conversion and remapped ecu.
  8. I recently purchased a R32 Gts-t with a 33 RB26 conversion. I'm new to the RB26 scene and know they are a nice but delicate engine. Just wondering what common problems you guys (people running a RB26) come across? Also what are the first things I should get done to make sure the engine is in good condition and wont go screwing up on me anytime soon. (as i don't have 15k to rebuild or do internals) I am changing the thermostat and getting the radiator flushed and cleaned and shortly looking at upgrading the computer. Advice would put my mind at ease. Cheers
  9. I have a similar problem except mine's in a 32 Gtst with a RB26 convertion. At low rev's specialy in 1st and 2nd gear. I go to take off and its like the turbos are straved or something, it will slowly boost up then drop out. But if I take off on high revs, its fine. Can't think of what the hell it could be.
  10. Just bought a R32 Gts-t with a GTR fuel pump. The Gauge was reading empty, so as you do, i went and filled up. $30 later and 27 liter, click. Tank is full. So pretty much the servo pump was saying my tank is full, but my fuel gauge is only saying half full WTF. Can anyone enlightin me to what might be happenin?
